I'm still learning better skills and things to look for and I've been driving over 20 years and a professional and truck driver for over 15. When I trained drivers in trucks and other things, the often worst drivers I encountered were the ones who already thought they were good drivers. Anyone who claimed to be a great, amazing or such driver was usually bad. The ones that said something more like im a safe driver, or I'm ok but still wanting to get better, were often the better drivers. I call myself above average and most importantly safe. To me safety comes first. Good luck on your driving, it really gives a sense of freedom and independence.

20:45 It never seems to occur to toolbags like this that if they miss their turn, the option exists to keep going until they can find somewhere to safely and legally turn around and come back, or find a block to go around. Nah, their solution is to stop and block the lane, make a nuisance of themselves, stuff up the traffic and risk getting rear-ended. Brilliant.
@kristy41342 ай бұрын
I agree. Go ahead and turn right down the road and then you can just come back and turn left… Not that hard and instead of expecting to push in or hold up other traffic, you are the one that deals with your mishap, not everyone else. These kind of people are not about just oops I’m lost, they think they are more important and just want to jump the queue.

17:00 in the video... You can send the cops any videos you like of failing to give way, driving on footpaths, overtaking on double white lines, whatever, and they won't do anything about it. But if you send the litter police a video of a car tossing litter out onto the road they will be prosecuted every time.

It's hard to keep up with scooter laws. Every state is different, and they all seem to change it every couple of years. I wish we could have one basic set of laws for them, nationally, and with private ownership being allowed if hire is allowed. Personally, I'd rather the law simply be "no, you can't have one".

I thought it was only VIC that was trialling them, but I just looked it up and found otherwise. Here are the main points I found: NSW, VIC (both 20km/h max speed limit) & SA (15km/h max speed limit) are allowed at trial locations only. QLD, WA & TAS (all 25km/h max speed limit) are allowed on roads with no dividing lines and where the speed limit is 50km/h or lower. ACT and NT are not allowed on the roads. And lastly, Australia wide, the scooter must not have the capability of exceeding 25km/h.
