@delawarecop3 ай бұрын
If a $10,000AUD limit was introduced under Law in 2006, then using the RBA Inflation calculator on the official Australian Government website would indicate that the same $10,000 limit of 2006 'EQUIVALENT VALUE' should now be set to $15,600+ AUD in 2023/24. This would indicate that craig was not in fact carrying excess cash at $13,500 AUD in 2023/24. This highlights the difference between the Spirit of the Law and the letter of the Law. The letter of the Law condemns, but the Spirit of the Law reveals the truth in all things. What is the hidden truth? Under mismanagement of the economy by the Australian Government, the AUD has plunged in 'value'. In the last 18 years it now requires 33% more cash to buy the same thing of 2006. So intelligent criminals still money launder by wearing Gold as personal jewellery items, like 900mm 24kt necklace worth $20k AUD. Back in 2006 this same necklace was only worth $5kAUD, so I could buy 2 of them for $10k AUD, and today they would be worth $40k AUD. Gold can be easily melted down and made into ingots of varying sizes to exchange for cash anywhere on earth. So Australian Customs Laws are really only designed to legally steal legitimate money from hard working citizens, not international crime syndicates.

Actually at any customs & immigration checkpoints including Australian. These officers knew they were being taped so they naturally will be on their most professional behaviour. Otherwise I bet they will send the arrogant bloke for a cavity search 😂

If he thinks cussing them out will make them move any faster or simply give up, he’s wrong. The customs fellows seem to be enjoying themselves, I imagine they hear this his sort of complaint constantly, water and duck’s backs and so on.
