Yeah I drive this road each day (the barriers and lights are now gone) and while these lights were in operation, I had numerous people go through the red while I was in there. Selfish, entitled people that I made reverse each time. All were utes, go figure.

Yeah but along with your so called 'evidence', are you prepared to provide your statement to police and get subpoenaed to go to Court if the perp pleads not guilty? Are you prepared to be cross examined by both prosecutors and defence, possibly attending multiple court dates due to adjournments or other delays? You providing just the rego and video/photo evidence doesn't do shit if you don't fully commit in assisting police though. I hate how people like you preach other people to report crimes to police but then, when police actually does commence investigation and advise the witnesses/complainants for their assistance, the said people bail out or refuse to provide their statement because they don't want to waste their time, go to Court, be cross-examined etc. Resulting in the matter being withdrawn by the magistrate, possibly cost awarded to the Accused and wasting police resources. And then people complain about how police doesn't do shit when in reality, they themselves don't know a thing about taking legal actions against offenders. People should be educated on how law enforcement works and what ACTUALLY means to put the matter before the court. Just my two cents.

Police radio the information ahead to the next town. Hefty fines. Every so often a wide load will ease to the side where possible to let the 110+ kph traffic go past.

It's normally a two lane road, however roadworks have taken up one lane. To facilitate traffic flow there are portable traffic lights at each end of the single open lane. The sedan driver has driven through a red light.

From the way some people drive in the cities nowdays reminds me of forigen countries that you see on TV where they just go where they like which suggests they either do not have licences or are not being taught Australian road rules (migrants/immigants from countries like India etc.) as they amaze me as to how they get into some of the situations.
