Dash cam: Tillsonburg, Ontario

Tillsonburg is a town located in the southwestern part of Ontario, Canada. It is situated in the municipality of Oxford County, approximately 50 kilometers southeast of the city of London. Tillsonburg was founded in the mid-1800s by George Tillson, a United States immigrant. The town was originally settled as a farming community and later became a center for manufacturing and industry.

My wife and I had lived in the GTA all our lives. We took a small trip along the shore of Lake Erie for few summer days, and on the way back we drove through Tillsonburg at dusk. Impressed by the main street, and the big stately homes along Broadway and the overall beauty, I said to my wife "I'd love to live here one day." A few years later we both retired and we just had to get away from the traffic, crime and congestion of Toronto. Guess where we moved?
