I remember watching him win the Champion of Champions in the mid 70s. Gosh, I miss the 1970s. He was definitely a great horse, no doubt about it. I loved Easy Jet and Refrigerator as well. These horses from the past were something very special that we’ll never see again. The same goes for thoroughbreds…..we’ll never see another Secretariat either.

I got a horse out of Dash For Cash. Boy she's badly behaved! But she's fast. 😂 Looks exactly like him too His great granddaughter or granddaughter, but straight from his line. Either her sire is his son, or his grandson. (they all had similar names so we don't know) her mother was also a racehorse. Not big time, but a racehorse.

Dash For Cash's place in QH racing history is cemented. Not only as a race horse,but as a tremendous sire of racehorses,sire of sires and as a broodmare sire. He sired a GREAT sire himself,First Down Dash. This is incredible considering he was basically a 7/8 TB! But his blood was royal with the ever present Three Bars TB/Top Deck TB nick in his line. He was laced with the blood of Domino TB. A true legend to be sure,and one I freely use in my breeding program!!

I bought a Dash for Cash gelding as my "1st" horse after having a bad experience with my actual 1st horse. His name was Cash and Imagination. Twin to Dash for Cash! Had 4 white socks, and was lighter though :) But oh my god. He was the best horse EVER. Trails, cows, gaming, and personally LOVED the show ring in western pleaure... Trained him myself. Had perfect conformation, and became a champion in my area:D I'm sad I had to retire him. DASH FOR CASH IS AMAZING. Quality looks and personality!

I don't know where many industries, barrel racing, racing, etc, would be without Dash For Cash! I have one that is Dash for Cash's granddaughter, Carls Dashing Chick. Love that mare! Even at 20 years old she could still run like a scalded dog!

I have a great great grandson of Dash for Cash and he's extremely fast at the sprint. Speed is still in the bloodlines. Its a sight to behold when my horse has the zoomies turned out in the arena.

Quarter Horse! Great Sires! The best in the world! Mother of my First Quarter Mare was importet to Europe in the belly of her Mother. King Ranch Mare too...her...Grandmother was the First or second ! Quarter Horse which came to us from the US to Austria in the Last Century...about 50 Years ago...like this! Living Legends there are still around!

I have a horse out of mr eye opener and exceptional dash, he’s quick and being slightly restarted because he doesn’t like the arena but he’s got a lovely puppy dog personality and he’s stunning, his breeding certainly didn’t only go one way being he’s a grandson of dash for cash he’s got me eye openers looks but his brain is great, still got a racehorse mentally but lovely and loyal

Dash for Cash intriques me. D. Wayne Lukas says he is the best horse he's SEEN in EITHER BREED!!! So, sorry Secretariat fans, sorry to have to tell you that,actually, no I'm not, lol. And "arguably" that's because Man O' War is the best and voted HOTC by Sports Illustrated, the Bloodhorse and turf experts. But a good documentary on this horse equivalent in Quarter horse racing to the best ever in Thoroughbred racing. Good looking as well.
