I have one of his daughter's. Hands down my best broodie. Three foals all great performance horses. All of them multiple eventers all extremely athletic , smart and cowey to the hilt.

I had no idea who Shining Spark was until I picked up the cutest little colt from a family who came upon so financial trouble. I brought 'Dun it in Vegas' home and told my friends who his parents were. They laughed at my ignorance! I was so shocked when they showed me who Shining Spark is! He is amazing and he does produce amazing babies...Vegas is awesome and has a heart of gold that just keeps on with so much enthusiasm! He is about2.5 years now. We did the same thing with the saddle.

Tim McQuay is one of the best reining riders and breeders there is. I have a lot of respect for him and have always looked up to him. Tim has ridden so many champions, so that was uncalled for. And this horse is great because he has an amazing pedigree and is absolutely beautiful. This was in his 4 year old season too... you can't expect a still somewhat green horse to do perfectly. He is one of the leading QH sires today. So I don't know what your talking about him being not so great.

I own a direct son of Shining Spark. He is 16 years old but still looking good and is in great condition.

We own a granddaughter. Her name is Shining Peppymint. We call her Lucky girl. She is so graceful and has the prettiest legs. You should see her do roll backs in the pasture when evading her pasturemates advances. It is a beautiful sight.
