Always allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or storing. Never submerge it in water or any other liquids. 2. After each use, unplug the Pocket Sandwich Maker and let it cool down. 3. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe down the Cooking Surface, its edges, and the Cover. Rinse the cloth thoroughly and wipe again. 4. Thoroughly dry the Pocket Sandwich Maker before storing. 5. If there's food stuck on the Cooking Surface, pour a bit of cooking oil and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Scrub with a sponge or soft-bristled brush, then wipe down with a damp, soapy cloth. Rinse the cloth and wipe again. For stubborn food, let the oil sit for a few hours, then scrub and wipe clean. 6.
