His cymbals sound soo fucking amazing! As well as his playing and drums.

He should have never left the agency, or rather, I wish The Agency never broke up. One of the best punk/progressive rock bands ever, hands down. But he's super talented and I'm glad he's getting paid and all, i guess. Where's the agency Mike, bring 'em back to Miami!

awesome! he can play the same thing twice almost perfectly! the velocity and the hits sound pretty equal from both takes!

actually he didn't play the same thing twice diferent tracks diferent fills, but he did play it with perfect timing and perfect velocity, he's awesome.
@HitchhikerGriff15 жыл бұрын
Yeah... He's playing Sonor now... Before he was with DDrum... Before that was this Gretch kit... Before that I think was resurrection drums, and truth before that... I'm not sure how I remember all that... I don't remember where I saw it actually... But I know that its right... He changes make after every contract almost...

If you like Mike Marsh, find THE AGENCY cd's... killer singer and drummer
@ltkenbo16 жыл бұрын
Yeah I played the actual song while watching this and it sync's up perfectly
@Shalebot15 жыл бұрын
The tastiest of tasty. A true god. A great singer, too. Lefler does most of the harmonizing now, though. =[

They do that in the recording process so the drummer can hear the next part of the song before he actually plays it... some musicians prefer it this way while recording

Great stuff but aren't K rides normally for jazz? :S That wash is a monster on a rampage lol
@TeleJazzStratCaster877 жыл бұрын
All personal preference, this was his style at the time. I remember reading an interview Mike Marsh had with Zildjian at the time and he said he wanted his crashes to sound like waves of the ocean colliding.
@GorcStew7 жыл бұрын
yeah you're right that is a progressive approach to music. Somewhere out there there is a death metal drummer using an Istanbul ride lol. I use a K ride for everything too but that is because I am too poor to afford multiple rides lol.
@masterexploder8316 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I guess I spoke without checking. Turns out they are still together, just not performing right now. That was news to me.

can anyone get me the first the agency album rock to the apocalypse
@TimAndEricAreTheBest13 жыл бұрын
Also wanted to note that he does multiple trackings and completely kills it. Plays super hard and gnarly and then on the actual recording they turn his shit down and make it sound real mellow. Kind of sad.
@mpa19314 жыл бұрын
He's the reason I use K rides
@HitchhikerGriff15 жыл бұрын
Are you serious? It only feels like yesterday he switched to DDrum from Gretch... Seesh...

hes a cutie but like my moms bf is his uncle no lie rnt i lucky :) especially cuz like r familes r together during holidays
@HitchhikerGriff15 жыл бұрын
Recorded with timing. If you've played the song enough, it's easy enough to get perfect almost every time!
@toutbon0915 жыл бұрын
yeah i like him , it just one dynamic the whole time!!! he could use a little more musician ship and change it up( not undermining his musicality at all .. just stating that it could be that much better)
@toutbon0916 жыл бұрын
yeah hes really good, but everything is sould ff all the time , the hands look a little sloppy , or french gripped ... french grip is pretty cool , a lot of set guys/ladies use french. this guy is no doubt creative though
