Hyacinth Peccoo is charged with falsely reporting that a Pequannock police officer pulled his gun on her during an Oct. 15, 2015 motor vehicle stop. An Irvington woman has been charged with falsely claiming that a township officer yelled and pointed his handgun at her, a claim disproved by the video system in the officer's patrol car, police Capt. Christopher DePuyt said in a release Wednesday. She went to Pequannock headquarters on Oct. 28 and stated she wished to make a complaint about an officer that stopped her for a motor vehicle infraction on Oct. 15 and stated she was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign, the release said. She claimed the infraction was not true and then claimed that the police officer yelled at her and removed his firearm and pointed it at her. After completing a written statement of her account, Lt. Fairweather advised her that her stop had been recorded by the patrol car's video system.Det. Lt. Fairweather and Ms. Peccoo then reviewed the six-minute video that showed all of her allegations to be false. During the traffic stop, the officer never yelled at her and never removed his firearm from its holster, the release said. She was issued with a traffic summons for failure to change the address on her driver's license. She has been charged with making a false report to law enforcement authorities, which is a disorderly person offence & she has a pending court appearance.

Still doesn't help if they can still make false ACCUSATIONS against them and take up their time, clog the courts, then not receive a fitting punishment for trying to ruin someone's life. They need to do DOUBLE THE PUNISHMENT that the cop would have gotten for misconduct, so let's say he would have received a fine of jail time for threatening the lady, that lady who falsely accused him should suffer double what he would have gotten. That will stop this shit REAL FAST.

this is the problem with someone coming into our country illegally, i dont know that she did for sure, but i would bet money on it, when someone comes into this country illegally they start out not taking the rules of our country seriously, thinking everything is a joke and no laws apply to them, then when someone tells them about the rules for all that they have to follow they look to be the exception through lies and frivolous lawsuits. most of what came out of her mouth was lies and she deliberately avoided answering the officers questions. and what a great cop, one of the best, shame on anyone that would lie on that guy.

Actually had one guy call in and bitch about a rookie who was, well, way too easy with people and got the guy to give me his address so I could send the chief to his residence to speak to him personally. Instead I sent two badass cops who handcuffed him and took him to jail to wait extradition! The easy going rookie let him go and I was waiting to see if a city wanted the guy.
