I watch your channel b/c I like the way you type up what happened in the wrecks.... This video is more accidents than some you show ; I say that as you get sent a lot of videos from people who want to STARR in a video, so much so that they create a problem & speed up/slow down to make the video look like something it's not. These people often are the ones who own a video cam & they see a car going to pull out or merge but instead of brake to avoid it, they keep going while honking/cussing the other cars? I'm glad you weeded them out of this video ; we've got a group who tries to make these things happen and I know you're aware of it. You have to be since you run a good, well known, channel. Thanks for all the work

Former truck driver here: #2: when you find yourself in this position, and you will at some point in your life, we all have and anyone who says otherwise has either never passed on a two lane highway or they’re a liar… (I’m willing to bet it’s the latter) you absolutely do not veer off to the left to avoid the oncoming car. The safest thing you can do is very quickly move back to the lane you came from even if you have to slow down significantly to do so. The oncoming driver will likely be slowing down as well unless that person is a psychopath. If you find yourself unable to return to your previous location, say maybe someone has already filled that gap, then the next best thing to do is stay in the lane because the oncoming driver will likely veer to the right and take the shoulder / grass unless of course they are a psychopath… or the geography would make that a worse option for them than hitting you. At any rate, should you find yourself in this position, I’d highly recommend finding Jesus before impact. I’m a Texan, but I support the first amendment, so feel free to substitute Jesus for whichever deity you already / would worship. The likelihood of surviving a head on collision at highway speeds is very low especially if you’re not wearing a seatbelt. Edit: and #5 is why I refuse to buy a house on a corner lot. #32 is why truckers don’t like these f-350s hauling trailers.
@Bezlonirslair4 ай бұрын

10:50 - I would have "agreed" to do a settlement, so I could get that woman's name and address, and then put in for a full claim after. Screw the "settlement agreement". I also don't understand why it's legal for US vehicles to NOT have front license plates. The amount of times victims who can't get the details of the other vehicle cos they only got footage of the front of the vehicle with no license plate is crazy. That law needs to be removed entirely and it be mandatory for rear AND front license plates.
@shawnawalker2075 ай бұрын
It's not legal to not have a front license plate in every state. It goes state by state. An example would be in Tennessee (where I live), you don't have to have a front plate. In Virginia, which is fifteen minutes from my house, because I live basically on the state line, you have to have front and rear plates. License plates aren't subject to federal law.

it is depressing seeing all those 90s tacomas and 4 runners die. the end of the simple car is ever closer. so sad.
