I just don't understand the mindset of using your horn before brakes.
@roadie31244 ай бұрын
It's the mindset of people who believe that they have the right of way. That's one of the reasons why there is no such thing as a right of way on Australian roads. There are other instances of people believing in things that don't exist that cause problems, up to and including death.
@tin20014 ай бұрын
I think the mindset is along the lines of "I have a hand that moves independently of my feet so I can do 2 things at once".

@@tin2001this! plus trying to warn the other person with the horn while simultaneously trying to avoid them by braking at the same time. Amazing how we can do things at once 😂
@stevegraham38174 ай бұрын
Be careful saying that around here. 2/3rds of the dash cam viewers will want to fight you for pointing out their short comings. Many will go to extreme lengths to try and prove that horn and screaming are better muscle memory reactions than hitting the brake pedal, even though none of them were ever taught to do that during their driving lessons.

@Wdeane19574 ай бұрын
So many honk their horn at someone coming the other way at 100 kmh, or 100 metres up the road. With modern cars they simply won't hear it or are too far away.

Dude I don't understand how people go into the middle of the road and still not go Yes I agree you shouldn't assume they have gone but yeah it's bad driving from the driver in front If you aren't gonna go don't creep into the middle of the flipping road, that way it doesn't prompt the drivers behind to start their head checks and preparations to get on the loud pedal and go But still, just fn go you are already in harms way if someone was coming from your right As you can tell, it grinds my gears, bloody nervous Nelly's
