Ultimately bewilders truck behind him and voila... he definitely initiated this disaster. If you wish to decide it's the truck drivers fault... to a smaller degree yes... like ~ 10% at comparable fault. Can't just blame truckies for everything.

8:10 Once again, another prime example as to why leaving a safe following distance is so important. 8:46 I assume this is totally ok because trucks "have time slots to make," and "are heavier than cars?"
@daviddou1408Ай бұрын
5:47 just because the truck stuffed the turn doesn't mean the cammer can go through on red. Yes I know it was orange when they hit the line but turned red at that instant so they had ample time to stop.
@SurgeDashcamАй бұрын
Technically they didn't run the red because they were past the line before it turned from Amber. But yes, I would have stopped for the light in this situation as that's just the smarter thing to do. Too many people have this "must beat the light attitude" even when there's vehicles ahead. That's how people get rear ended at lights.

11:51 I have had one accident where I was not at fault (I was rear ended) it was a young guy on his green ps I was on my red ps. It was the nicest possible crash you could ever had. I was a bit in shock I drove a tiny car and a large hilux hit me so it was a bit dramatic haha but the point is we were both respectful to each other - I had no idea what to do so the guy was like just pull over into that bay thing we exchanged details and a tow truck showed up while we were doing that. 10/10 crash. I dont understand people getting so angry and aggressive it's BS. Yes it's a pain in the arse having an accident but it happens and sometimes is unavoidable. Just be a decent human.

4:52 that’s an interesting one, we can see DC has a green, but also 3 cars including a cop were turning in front of him, as if they had a green light with no arrow, or a green light and a green arrow, could that be faulty traffic light sync, or did 3 cars including a cop go on a red arrow??
@BudoReflexАй бұрын
Well spotted.
@roberto558022 күн бұрын
A green light with no arrow does not give you right of way when turning right. Potentially a red arrow light was broken (though you would see the light go orange), and motorists were just used to having right of way at that intersection. Or you just had a few slightly more silly people in a row not knowing the road rules.

19:22 Yes, cammer made the culprit reverse. Justice is served sometimes.
@JayCGypsyАй бұрын
Yeah, I'm a bit confused about that one. It doesn't look like a one way street and the "culprit" would have no way of knowing that someone was about to turn into the street when they started going past those parked cars. Australia has a weird system where two way streets sometimes don't have enough room to have cars pass each other from opposite sides... but also plenty of shit drivers who will get upset when there IS enough space for two cars, as you can clearly see in this example. It may be tight but knowing your car and how to drive it in tight spaces is not that hard. In Europe you wouldn't survive a day without those skills.
@neilgerace355Ай бұрын
@@JayCGypsy1. We don't know how wide the cammer's vehicle is. 2. The obstruction is on the culprit's side of the road. They can find another way around it.
@JayCGypsyАй бұрын
@@neilgerace355 Plenty of space on the left side to scoot over but the dash cammer turned into the road cutting the corner, another stupid habit of Australian drivers. Sure, he was 'right'. But because he's a bad driver, multiple people needlessly wasted time. If he had turned in wide and kept to the left, there was enough space for both to pass. You can see from the height of his camera and the reflections that this isn't a truck.
