Don't even go onto the roads at first. Use an empty carpark (Bunnings on a weekday after closing, for example) to get the basics of moving and steering. Follow the arrows around, practice parking in the lines, etc. Steering can be harder than people think when you first start, and judging the car width even harder. Practicing parking in an empty carpark gets those basic skills working with almost zero risk to others, and most businesses don't care if a learner is practicing their parking skills after hours.

Good on OurBathrooms for the public response and AusDashcams for bring such driving to your / our attention, however a formal warning seems weak since they lane hopped then ran a red light from the wrong lane. If it was a late red it may be worth a formal warning people can mistime the lights focusing on other things. BUT to lane hop and purposely run the red from the wrong lane is putting the public in serious jeopardy and show a clear disregard for any other road users. A formal warning only feels abit too weak and that OurBathrooms doesn't really take public saftey seriously, I'd recommend that sack otherwise this dangerous behaviour will be repeated due to the precedent by only receiving a warning, all driver will know you can seriously break the road rules in a company vehicle and you'll only get a warning. Tbh not good enough.

Big Huntsman Spiders are a known cause of RTAs. Frequently as a result of dropping out of the sun visor into the driver's lap. The problem being that while most of the culprits are Huntsman Spiders, there's always the possibility of something far nastier appearing in your car ... such as a Funnel Web. Even as an invertebrate zoologist, a big spider catching me unawares in Australia would be a "check underwear" moment for that reason. Always check your car for uninvited guests before setting off. Especially if you live in Eastern Brown or Taipan country, or you're in a place where spiders are big and fast moving. Prevention is ALWAYS better than cure in this regard.

On freeways they love to attempt to overtake on ascents - all too often only to find that they cannot succeed. Instead they inconvenience every other road user.
