As a delivery driver who drove past the bøyabree once per week it was spectacular each time and videos and pictures truly does not do it justice.

This is frightening. When I visitied this location as a 14 year-old the Bøyabreen was a thick sheet of ice which almost touched the river it feeds. To see the degree of retreat over the intervening 60 years really brings home the degree that climate change is impacting on all our lives.

only 25 years ago the glacier was basically down to the river bed. This is bad, some Alpine glaciers show a far more dramatic and worrisome decline. A couple of glaciers. though, are expanding - Nepal, Greenland (sort of) and Alaska if I recall correctly, but this is due to higher precipitation resulting from higher temperatures elsewhere. Mostly they are declining, and the rate of decline is increasing. Lakes are low in Switzerland resulting in less water for farming, therefore lower yields that mean need for more chemicals for less produce (remember those Netherland farmer riots that IDU types were claiming to be bout local famer needs...! Read more!) ...

The Lærdalstunnel with its 24.5 kilometers is the longest road tunnel in the world and is also located in Norway. An experience to drive through there.🙂

Noruega es un país extraordinario pero desgraciadamente el cambio climático también ha llegado ahí. Apenas hay nieve y los glaciares están desapareciendo. Eso si, los señoritos del sky tienen nieve artificial

I am a 20-year-old teenager and I love nature, I love beautiful trees, I love running water, but unfortunately I live in a desert country that not only lacks beautiful vegetation, but also faces a crisis of drinking water shortage. . . Every time I see your videos, tears flow from my eyes and I say to myself what a sin I have committed that I have to live in this desert despite the beauty of the world. And I want to commit suicide soon Because I can't bear to live in this hell forever But I want you to use these charms more Maybe that beautiful nature is a normal thing for you, but it might be a dream for someone who can only see such a place in their dreams.

Be glad you are not on the other side of the sogne fjord. There is the world longest tunnel at 24 ish kilometers. It takes over half an hour to drive through it. The tunnel is a little drive from Sogndal, shown in the video, but south instead of north.
