That’s why I tip minimum wage per hour for services. Nail shop, facial, grocery delivery. My mom taught me how hard it is for waiters and people in the industry. I tipped my movers for approximately 5 hours $130.00 each. For two guys. They worked really hard and were excellent. Plus they got their salary. Sorry that person burned you.

I would recommend you look into getting one of those stair-climbing carts so that you can take everything up in one trip. Unfortunately people who live in inconvenient locations choose to use apps for grocery shopping because they don't want to haul it up themselves.

Girl my heart goes out to you. You are so brave you didn't cry for sympathy you just were at the end of your rope at the end of your shift. That lady KNEW what she was doing. Her lazy butt wouldn't walk up those steps w/groceries and she knew it. If she had half a shred of human feeling she would have offered to come grab a few and help carry up. That's allot why I quit eats. I still drive which has its own set of raggedy BS but the pay is a bit better. Big hugs and a prayer of better times. It happens to us all at some point. I picked up 12 bags of groceries, and 12 bottles of wine. 25 steps up to front door. That's 6 trips up and down the steps carrying 2 heavy bags at a time. Then the wine. This job is not easy! But you are doing a great job, and Dashing your Way Out of Debt...you go girl! Keep those videos coming...

That Aldi order was bs! I don’t accept large orders from there at all. It takes too much time to shop . The customer knew what they were doing and no elevator . I would’ve left at bottom of the stairs and took a picture 😂 since she didn’t answer the phone

What you went through is the reality of what you do …. It’s really disappointing…. Nuts it’s about living and learning . I think the Apt without the elevator, didn’t answer probably because the person maybe didn’t want to offer to help you because of the stairs . IDK ,🤷🏻‍♀️ but it is just a feeling . This delivery service isn’t as easy as most people think it is

Maybe take 10 small orders to houses in place of one large order to a 3rd floor apartment. I’ll do a lot of the small orders if less than 2 miles quick and easy 4. $5 orders per hour beats a big order you have to shop etc for. The time it takes is more important to me than large orders that take longer to deliver.

If items unavailable, it's as simple as hitting unavailable. Or all items unavailable what ever it says. Go thru couple steps & it gives half pay or even more sometimes.

You have to be careful with hitting unavailable on all items (or 1 item if it's a 1 item order). Some people do this to fraudulently get half pay for no work. And because some people scam, Doordash has started deactivating people for doing this scam. There have been a couple reports of people who were doing this for legitimate reasons (not scamming) who got deactivated. Of course there are always some scamming losers who have to mess things up for everyone else. Always protect your account. It's worth more than half pay on a single order. In this situation, my reaction would probably be to unassign with no pay as quickly as possible and move on to the next thing. It sucks, but sometimes you gotta lose the battle so you can go on to fight another day.

I’m a lot like you I have a job and I also deliver for DoorDash and Uber eats as a side hustle to pay off bills as I am saving for a new home for me and my children. When I watch your video, I am literally crying with you but you’ve got this!! Sometimes, when I know it’s going to be busy, I have someone that rides along with me. That person is my navigation co-pilot. They will yellow the kilometres and the amount and they are already versed on how much I will take. If it’s too low, they will decline it. It also helps with those big orders because my copilot is really physical and can pretty much lift anything. It’s just a thought. If you teach one of your children, if they are older, maybe they could ride along and be your copilot it’s amazing to teach your kids what you’re doing and then at the end of the day, give them a small amount of money. It’s a way for them to earn money and have fun with mom, turn it into something fun, laugh, and have a good time. You will find that having that extra person there really makes a huge difference.

Oh Mama, I feel for you with that Aldis order! She definitely ignored your text about the elevator! I've also taken orders I have regretted. An UE grocery store pick up, said 1 item. It wasn't, and after waiting a long time they loaded the front and back seat of my car with so many bags filled with heavy cans, bottles of soda, 3 cases of coke, 3 cases of water, etc. I think it paid $7.00! After making so many trips up her front stairs I told her the order said 1 item, and If I knew it was a full shopping order I would have never accepted it. She handed me a $5.00 tip when I was done. Definitely not worth the time, I know it was over an hour as I had to sit there while they shopped for her! Absolutely ridiculous! So you're not alone MM. I hope you have a better, prosperous week!

Oh honey. I'm so sorry. I hope you get on Spark soon. With Spark it gives you a timer and it tells you if it's an apartment or not and you can view all the items first before accepting the order. I decline all apartment orders. I will not carry cases of water up three flights of stairs. ABSOLUTELY not. I also use a wagon for all my regular Spark deliveries.❤

Mama, you won't always get roadie gig, other drivers may have clicked, the closest driver gets the offer, don't give up. On roadie just keep trying. My first time I tried it took a week to get a roadie, I didn't know just keep looking click on the next dot try again. Know where CVS walmarts are located so you click on the closest to you. Walmart on roadie get taken fast, I did get walnart. Refresh often to update roadie don't auto refresh new roadie offers. Happy roadie in...😊

I commend you on that large shop. I dislike apartment complex for these reasons, little or no response from the customer, dont give gate codes, give apartment number not the building number (usually its easy to guess the building number but trust me, its always the opposite what I guessed), building number visible but so small, and the time to take the items up 3rd floor! I took 12...yes 12, 96 oz of Tide up to 3rd floor! How many trips I made? One trip because I always have grocery cart handy. As of late, I have been cherry picking what to accept or not accept. Apartments , I can't!And Congratulations on 7k!! 🎉
