Another driver probably stole that one order. They picked it up, unassigned it and ate the customers food. It’s a known problem. Some restaurants are actually making you mark that you picked up the order in front of them.

That’s the reason why I don’t do alcohol delivery’s. I was expecting my Super Bowl to be good as well, but it was horrible for DoorDash and Uber. But thank goodness I do Instacart that’s the only thing that save me.

I don’t do alcohol deliveries either. I’ve done a couple of them and they pay crappy in my market. Like $8.00 for a case of alcohol going 10 or 12 miles. I also don’t want to assume the liability of having to verify identity and if they are drunk or something and don’t want to produce an id. Nope not going to do it.

That cellulitis bacteria can even get in your skin thru a tiny crack anywhere in the skin such as sand bacteria from the beach and if he has very dry or cracked feet. I would just make sure he wears the proper shoes on the beach. My autistic grandson wore the slip on shoes called the rubber vinyl "Gardner" shoes and also he wore the the swim shoes with the sole and mesh top Important they have moisturizer skin rather than dry skin. I'm no expert. Just throwing it out there. Can come from a beach, pool, anywhere! A friend of mine upped her vitamin C a good multi vitamin with at least 5O0 mg she was told It can come from fingernails to the body also.

I have the gel or whatever that is. My bottles like empty and I need to face reality and stop trying to squeeze that an open my new one. The next one on deck was the DoorDash one. I’m not sure if they sent a bad batch at it first that leaked or if that was just Instacart. But it looks professional enough and it sealed so hopefully it’s not gross. I have to get back in the habit of using it more. I think if I were at longer these days I would have already. I’ve used it twice recently just when I was done putting myself coffee after other people had touched the coffee pot. Plus the door handle. 😂 so I’m sure if I was dashing more I would be using it. The supermarket here has some really nice wipes to wipe down the card. I use them for my hands too. 😂

Very much recommend washing your eyes before touching your eyeball. I hate when I get an eyelash in my eye and yes I have to wash my hands when I come in just for running across the street and getting a coffee. 😂 let alone, shopping carts and doors. If I need to pee and I don’t have time to run home or I’m not dashing nearby, I use a bathroom in McDonald’s or something either when I pick up is it ready or on a break grab a coffee or iced coffee whatever… when I wash my hands well and then I use a paper towel to open the bathroom door. Germs 🦠 are gross! 🤮

I did DD on Super Bowl Sunday and it sucked! It was slow from 2-4pm then from that point on it was busy with a long wait at the restaurants.

Long story short, my daughter had osteomyelitis I needed surgery after the ER sending us away three times with different BS diagnoses. She had no cut no razor cut no bug bite nothing. They said sometimes it’s so small you can’t see like from scratching an itch. I’m just saying, if he doesn’t improve, don’t be shy to be a mama bear and take him back. She’s fine she lost no use of any of her foot or leg. But she was in a lot of extra pain for a week. Til we went to an orthopedic specialist office and he actually did some tests and sent her to be admitted through the ER. If there’s anyway, if that ever happens to anyone reading list, try to get them to admit them straight to the pediatrics floor. She was like 16 when that happened. Not fun. I’ve had cellulitis or what they thought was that too, and I was in the hospital with IV antibiotics probably because I’m allergic to penicillin, etc. So they kept me close why they gave me a derivative of it. I think it was amoxicillin or something. Anyway, I hope it’s something simple like what they said if even, and that it’s better in a couple of days! But I don’t think they know for sure with things like that unless they’ve done x-rays, MRIs, etc. So don’t be shy if God forbid it doesn’t get better.

While the ER sucked at that hospital, the pediatric unit was excellent! At one point she was the only patient on the whole ward. I was happy to hear that. You don’t want to have a full ward (unit?) of sick kids because that’s just sad. It didn’t hurt that my brother fundraised at the time for the Hosp so also knew the CEO. We had people coming in to give us surveys and asked how things were like every other day once we were admitted. 😂

That could be something they were out of stock, and when they had a delivery yesterday for a party tonight either that they’re going to or giving. I mean, even if it’s a six pack of beer maybe it’s with everybody likes and they’re on a budget. (just cause I probably would just think somebody ordering it from an app would get something slightly more expensive or fancier. I don’t know. ) I guess it’s like people having McDonald’s DoorDashed. Even if it’s not near your house, like if you’re going to order some thing of all the things to order for me that would not be it… even if they didn’t just about double the prices on the app for that place. But it’s a treat for some special occasion and that’s what they always want but never eat or that’s just what they like to eat as long as I get paid whatever. I mean, it could definitely be somebody struggling with an alcohol problem. In which case I’d rather bring it to them than have them drive. And I mean I guess everyone has different experiences, but I would think in your area it would be pretty safe for you to deliver and even get ids 🪪 without any kind of big delay. I mean huge generalization, but I don’t think you should have too many issues. Have you in the past? I guess I’m just willing to take on the risk because if it was wildly out of control I would just leave as soon as I politely could n call someone. police versus support would depend on what was going on and just don’t put yourself in danger. If they ever God forbid demand the alcohol without ID just do it to stay safe!! and then document it immediately. (After you get a few blocks away!) And just ask them at DD to take that address out of your queue forever. And follow up on that to make sure it was done. I mean so far I personally have only seen a few alcohol offers and they were nothing to write home about either as far as distance for pay. So unless you count NyQuil I’ve never actually even done one. Actually (even though I’ve been certified since like almost day one) I’ve Never even had an offer until recently. But I DID notice on the customer app side - they were offering them some kind of like Bogo or only a couple dollars extra - for the second stop for a double delivery, and they recommend alcohol stores. I think it’s actually what the promo is/was. *Food and good drinks* in one delivery order* 😮ish - without me remembering the fancy slogan. They have now at least twice-once in the last couple days, alerted me when they need certified alcohol drivers. Even when there was no spot open before. All day. And When they’re in need they even put a whole entire $1 peak pay for alcohol delivery. 😂 it’s a shame for the people that they hide tips on. But on all of the ones I get the miles are so much higher than the pay. I just assume nothing is hidden. Who knows if that’s true but I don’t understand DoorDash even more if they hide those! 🤦🏻‍♀️ and nothing would shock me!

Summary is we never know why someone is ordering right then, imho but I think it usually turns out fine and I’m usually pretty paranoid. I’d rather bring it at noon than midnight. 😂 the only ask you to observe what you can like if somebody can hide, having a lot of alcohol in them Well you just did the best you could. I mean you’re not an x-ray machine. So if they’re good in your area, I would say if it was me, I think I would try a few more times. But I think it totally depends on the area. But I’ve seen some people deliver like multi hundred dollar alcohol orders of just a few bottles. And a lot of times they hit 20% or something. So it’s a pretty decent tip if it’s not going far. And probably if they order from DoorDash versus the store or the store was nice enough to pass the tip on. They can choose to keep it. But anyway you do you whatever you’re comfortable with. I keep wishing I would get one worth taking. 😂

From this day forward, every alcohol order I do will be known as an "alco-whore" order. 😂 I also wash my hands when I get home from being out in the nasty world with all its disgusting door handles. LOL. It's a habit I picked up during the pandemic and it just stuck. I also sanitize my phone when I get home. I'm very careful about touching my eyes, nose, or mouth when my hands are dirty. You worked all day to pay for a few groceries . . . jeez. Every time I go through the supermarket checkout, I want to cry. Everything is so expensive. Inflation is hitting hard at the grocery store. The coffee I buy used to be 5.49 a couple years ago. Now 7.49. 😭
