I absolutely love your videos! I’ve watched a few of the recent ones but am going to start at the beginning and work my way up. 😊 I stumbled onto you while researching Door Dash. I’m 62 yrs old and quit my job three years ago to take care of my 90 yr old mother. I need some income and something where I could work when I want to and not a set schedule. To my knowledge (bc unless you are in a crazy busy area you’re gonna have to schedule five or six days out) but you can schedule for any time you think you might possibly want to dash… and there’s no punishment if you don’t sign in. For any block of time scheduled, after half an hour, they just remove it from your schedule and it opens up a spot for somebody else who was waiting for “Dash now” to become available. Good luck.

Also, alternatively since you start out (either top Dasher if your area still has that or platinum Dasher if they’ve gone to the tier system in your area) you may choose to just keep your acceptance rate high especially if you don’t get a lot of two or $3.20 mile offers in your area…. And then you can dash now anytime if you keep it high enough and do enough deliveries. But whether or not you need to to make decent money in your area since you can probably only do part time really does depend on the individual zone. But I can tell you that my ar is very low and yeah when is slow its slow. But there are still busy days that I can do pretty decently imho. That was smart of you by the way. I was a Dashing, etc. For a few years before I ever saw that they showed me a DoorDash video on here. Up until sometime in the last year I never even knew there was such a thing. Of course watching KZbin more I have learned that is pretty much every topic in the world on here probably. Again, best of luck.

Sign up for Ueats too. Ask your local grocery stores which apps are registered to do deliveries. Position yourself near a group of expensive restaurants. Know the areas where homes are expensive. They will order from restaurants, Starbucks, etc. Practice driving those areas so you are familiar. Avoid deliveries to apartments & condos (memorize streets where there are apartments/condos). Only take $2/mile offers. Take into consideration dead miles after drop off, to drive back to an area where you are close to expensive restaurants/areas. Because, you are paying gas to position yourself after drop off. Busiest times for deliveries are 8am-10:30am, 4pm-8pm. Good Luck

I don’t understand why people continue to use DoorDash’s navigation. I use Waze, am able to choose the route of my pleasing, never have any issues finding any customer, and I don’t have to listen to DoorDash’s very instructions in the app. It’s nauseating and a time waster. It’s very easy to simply adjust settings in the DoorDash app.

EXCLUSIVE is just a psychological tactic to make the delivery driver feel special, and encourage them to accept the order. That's all it is...a play added to the game! Uber has been testing it for months with RideShare drivers. They are now testing it with Ueats delivery drivers.

It sounds like one card is way better than branch. With one card you can transfer your money to the bank the minute you make it you still have to wait 24 hours for your tips though there’s no delay as soon as the trip goes on your card and you can transfer it to your bank immediately, or you can spend it at Walmart and get 3% back. That’s what I’ve been doing with it. I just do all my grocery shopping with it.

Exclusive is a contract with that restaurant that Uber is the Exclusive delivery service for that business. The restaurant gets extra benefits, not the driver. I googled it because I was wondering also.

Uber has been testing the word 'Exclusive' for months with Uber RideShare drivers. It's just a psychological tool used in an attempt to make the driver 'feel special', and more obligated into accepting the offer. Often, 'Exclusive' is lower pay too. Another game play in Gamification of the app.

It says EXCLUSIVE because the trip radar changed to showing a map where you can zoom, so now trip and normal looks the same. so UE added the word exclusive so you know this order is just for you.

In my town we have a drive thru only chic fil an and a regular one about 1/4 mile apart because the line wrapped around the building was causing problems in the parking lot. Funny thing is… the drive thru only was the chic fil a before they opened in the new location. So they reopened it as drive thru only. I am also in florida. 🤦🏼‍♀️

If you use the One card instead of Branch, some of your earnings can be transferred to your bank immediately after delivery. The tips come 24 hours later, then can transfer to the bank. Still annoying steps you have to take, but I think better than Branch, maybe.
