The pain you described I had and was told it was inflammation of the ulnar nerve. I got where I couldn't push myself to turn over in bed, lift dishes out of the cabinet, cook/stir dinner on the stove... I took steriods and it relieved the inflammation and got healed.

Anyone taking $2 and $3 orders is a fool especially if it’s a higher mileage order and even if it isn’t I’m still not taking it because I know it’s obviously a non tipper that doesn’t deserve to have their order delivered. Earn by time in some markets can sometimes make up for the trash orders with the slightly better base pay but earn by time is only good for slower days and to increase acceptance rate.

WTAF is going on with all that crap orders, feeling your disappointment up here for sure. I actually dumped DD after I recently did the reset and all they continued sending me for the next week was $5 for 10 mile bs as a top dasher! Nahhhhh! Uber and GH are usually pretty good but lately it’s been Pittsville on both apps.

I took a 31 item order for PetSmart. It was 30 crickets and jar of lizard food, super easy. Side note - cricket upc not on bag. Cashier has a upc to scan in their book.

I text each customer to let them know I’m heading to them with their food. If 2nd delivery, I text I have one quick delivery en route to you then I will be there with your food. It’s in an insulated bag to keep it hot! I know which customer is which n if they’ve texted me. You get more 5 star ratings this way n also most times they open their door on leave at door deliveries. Just a suggestion… notify customers you’re en route. Don’t leave it to the app to notify them. I frequently get added tips in the app n cash on delivery

I was told by a friend of a friend who recognized me- he told my friend and she told me that I’m just duplicating texts that they already get or messages anyway like that the food was at the door or whatever. So I stopped unless they asked me to ring the bell, cause I get more specific directions not to ring the bell or knock. I think I only once I’ve been asked to knock or ring the bell I forget, which.

Just not If it’s gonna make the order take longer to get there unless it’s something I have to tell them - which usually a wait at the restaurant which means I’m not delaying it…

If schedule a dash, but can’t start for some reason and I don’t want to lose my dash spot..I just keep pausing orders until I can dash lol so far it’s let me pause as many times as I want for 35 min each time.

I enjoyed this vid as it’s real and not those folks who make tons more money doing YT vids than they do actually working and struggling as real people do with gig work. I was so excited last night with a $14 UE order only 2 miles or less….of COURSE, after being at the restaurant for five minutes a manager told me that they “don’t see that order in the system at all…but… give it some time…it may come through “. I’ve been doing DD and UE for over two years. If it’s “not in your system”, it won’t be. I fruitlessly waited, hoping, for another five minutes. Nope. Cancel. But, sheesh, a huge waste of time in the midst of the dinner rush on a Saturday evening! Gee, thanks! And of course I get nothing for the time wasted! Ugh! Both DD and UE have been total garbage of late….not just no tip orders but just as you showed: oh…gee…a whole seven bucks to go 18 miles? Wow. Thanks. Nope!

@@irishspagetti6565 Well, with school out a lot of young people imagine DD, etc is the greatest and easiest thing, so they over-populate the market, and DD does the rest of us zero favors, as they grant new DD’ers ‘honorary Top Dasher status for their first two weeks’ so they get all the best offers, and if and when they finally ‘get into the trenches’ as the rest of us….other new people (summer especially) replace them…. It’s a totally effed up system that gives zero to people who’ve worked for DD consistently for years at all….

My previous post disappeared. Here goes: Just discovered your channel. New subscribers. You’re hilarious. You say some of the same things I do. At. Pete’s is in a different zone than Clearwater/Largo. If you accidentally tapped on Clearwater/largo but were actually in St. Pete’s you’d get a dash along the way button. When you hit that dd will say why go up there when you have a dash scheduled in st Pete’s (where you were). Clear as mud? Good. Lol 😂

Does it help if you get a back lumbar support for your car? I have noticed myself getting the same neck and back pain especially when driving for long hours, maybe you can try it and see if it helps, mine that I bought recently has helped a lot

It has been terrible out here! Yesterday I got a 40 dollar tip but it was one of two orders I got from 8 am to 9 pm. I hung in there all day thinking it would pick up at night and it never did. I think Saturdays in the summer are gonna be tough

in my market in eastern canada it is over saturated. I can't get on the schedule can only dash when it's busy. I don't have your luxury of so many order so i take what i can get. Lucky I drive an EV. I don't care how far it is. My acceptance rate is at 89%.

What you're going through is exactly how it's been out here, just getting work and worse!!!DoorDash needs to change how it presents tipping to customers, here it's max $4.50 unless you manually input a custom amount...it's not even like DD doesn't care, it's more like they DON"T WANT CUSTOMERS TO TIP better!!!They make it harder for customers to tip more, more effort on their part to spend more money??!? So i'm considering doing food delivery and i asked my Dasher how much my order said for pay. He said $6 and change when i tip $10 every time. He then texted saying it updated after completion. Markets are different but algorithms are the same. I commented a few weeks ago that you should reach out to me to fix what’s going on. I did a short dash today, made 4 deliveries and made $72 on 3 hours. I love your content but you just need a tweak in order to be successful in your market. I started watching because I used to live in St. Pete.

I didn’t do any orders for doordash today I got 1 which wasn’t good but I took it to try and get atleast priority to see if that makes a difference instead of only getting 1 offer sent to me every 1/2hr cause that’s what it seems like they do but then I got to the grocery store and had to cancel it because I realize I forgot my Fanny pack again home so that hurts my completion rate and I had to drive home in order to get my cards for Uber and doordash and my wallet. I drove for over an hour before I even realized I didn’t have my wallet.. that sucked and I didn’t get any more offers after that I was getting great offers on Uber going short distances and I’m not even top anything my acceptance is only like 9% it’s like that because I leave it on while I’m doing doordash orders and it counts against me oh well.. I was getting orders like 7.94 going 0.8 miles I got a McDonald’s order going 1.7 miles for 7.10 and while I’m waiting there an add on order going 0.8 miles comes in for 6.69 so I take it and the first persons order was actually more it was 13. 16 for the 1.7 cause after the top came in there was actually a 10.16 tip so it was higher then 7.10 so the whole order was like 16.79 I think my math could be off but only going 2 miles and they didn’t even have huge orders was amazing.. so I was getting those kind of orders for Uber the entire time I was driving which was 4-5hrs. Normally things don’t work out that way for me but, today it certainly did.. here’s alittle tip that has been working for me lately.. i am not a Bible thumper or go to church but, I have faith I pray in my car before I get an order asking for help and I’m telling u it’s been a blessing for me sense I started doing that.. so anyone struggling lately maybe try praying on it and u shall to receive help. Good luck today was a great day for me. Im sorry u got all those crappy offers mama..

@@careypanttila7293 I have to stop the stop the dash then it gives you the option to dash by time. On days like that you get paid from the time you except to the time you deliver, plus tip. I had a day like this (had long wait times at restaurants)and long miles. I was getting paid a pretty good amount for waiting and driving. I don’t do it all the time but busy days where all the restaurants are full this works well.

Fact is, the more orders you decline, the more trash you get. Also multi-apping, each app knows you’re doing it. Ya’ll are shooting yourselves in the foot. Do one app or the other. Not both or 5. You reap what you sow. Also raise your acceptance rate or quit dashing altogether. You get what you give. Top dasher n WINNING!! I don’t get those trash orders you’re offered

I wonder if it’s because it’s summer time and people are ordering more frequently. They probably don’t tip as much because it’s adding up so quickly. I’ve noticed crappier orders too.
