Welcome to the wonderful Martin era of Sabbath! My personal favourite album is TYR which has a cracking opening with Anno Mundi. There is a video from that album called Feels Good To Me which is what you would call more radio friendly. The bassist for most of Martin’s time was Neil Murray who played in Whitesnake, but Geezer did play on one Martin album called Cross Purposes which also saw Bobby Rondinelli replace Cozy Powell like he did in Rainbow, although Cozy returned for the next & final Martin era album Forbidden. The Martin era minus his first outing Eternal Idol is being released in a box set called Anno Domini 1989 - 1995 pretty soon. Here is a short clip of Tony singing When Death Calls back on the TYR tour in 1990 to show he had the pipes live too ;-) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmfOXp-ld9J6aacsi=LqRc3H51j4zaKK7S

Excellent vocalist. Cozy was a legend. Actually died in a horse riding accident. Very sad

@@stefanboskovic4724 Cozy had a horse fall on him in the early 90s breaking his pelvis & forcing him out of the band for the recording of Dehumanizer & Cross Purposes, but returned for the album Forbidden. He died in a car crash in 1998.

Geezer Butler, my favourite musician of all time. Did you know the 1st time he ever played a bass guitar was on stage for a gig. Mad eh! He said, he had to wing it and fugure out how to fit it in as he went. Shame he's not in this. ❤ from Northeast England ❤️

A wonderful reaction! Tony Martin was actually the longest tenured singer for Black Sabbath after Ozzy, and he was SO tragically underrated! This song had a special bonus by Tony Iommi inviting his best friend Brian May to do this solo, which Brian May did perfectly. Also a bonus having the legendary Cozy Powell drumming.

Tony Martin better in the studio that in live for me delusion . In particular the high notes.. Dio in studio and live it no difference.
