A wonderful reaction, as always! Great! The drummer that you hear on the studio sound on this was the great Cozy Powell (originally from Whitesnake, Jeff Beck and then Rainbow). I think the drummer shown in the video is Bobby Rondinelli, but I'm not sure. Powell unfortunately died in a car accident.

I'm here to confirm that is Bobby Rondinelli drumming on the video footage. RIP Cozy Powell. He started making a name for himself around 1968 onward. Considered by many as one of the top tier, most influential drummers of all time.

Originally with Jeff Beck, then Rainbow, then Michael Schenker Group, then Whitesnake, then Sabbath with stints with ELP & Brian May as well as a successful solo career. And yes it is Bobby Rondinelli in the video as someone has synced the studio album song to the live video from the Cross Purposes Live 1994 VHS. Bobby replaced Cozy three times, once in Rainbow & twice in Sabbath. First he replaced him for the Cross Purposes album & tour then Cozy rejoined for the Forbidden album & part of the tour before Bobby replaced him again for the rest of the tour. Cozy was supposed to be touring on Yngwie Malmsteen’s Facing The Animal tour but sadly died in a car accident on the 5th of April 1998 aged just 50. He also has the rare achievement of a drummer getting to number 3 in the U.K. single charts with his instrumental Dance with the Devil. He also set a world record on the tv show Record Breakers by playing 400 drums in 58 seconds. This clip is his last known tv appearance a month or two before his death on TFI Friday. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nme9iYedfcaDpJosi=wadmB_L_wSOTrzoo Anno Mundi is one of my favourites of the Tony Martin era & TYR pronounced tear is a banger. Cozy also happens to be my favourite drummer of all time.

You should listen to Black Sabbath's Death Calls with Tony Martin. Very powerful song and vocals on that one.

The Latin choir throughout the song is Tony Martin's layered vocals. Live, this was sampled, with backing harmonies by keyboardist Geoff Nicholls. Tony Martin was in Sabbath from 1987-1990, and again from 1993-1997, and still performs as a solo artist today. His last solo album "Thorns", is solid.

One of the most epic Sabbath tracks ever. Has been sending chills up my spine since the day it was released. Martin's vocals are impeccable. BTW, the footage in this video is from the Hammersmith Odeon show that was released as "Cross Purposes LIVE", as was previously mentioned by someone else.

Great piece, beautiful beginning in Latin. The voice reminds me a lot of the legendary Ronnie James Dio. R.I.P.

As a Sabbath fan since 71. Someone asks me to react to Stevie wonder, Living for the City, I am pretty sure its a great song by a fantastic artist, also from memory, I believe its on Innervisions, 1973. Anyone asks me to react to music I have never heard. I WILL GOOGLE THE SHIT OUT OF IT. , rather than look a proper jackass on camera.

Dad and daughter, TYR is 1990. Line up Tony Martin vocals, Tony Iommi guitar, Cozy powell drums, Neil Murray on bass. This whole album is a typical Sabbath masterpiece. Dad and daughter one piece of advice for reactions is do research before reacting. We have Google now don't you know? If reactors can't be arsed to do research before reacting then clear off. Get the history of the band who was in who was not. Tired of reactors who profess to have a bloody clue, but actually don't.

Blasphemy to most. I love e every Sabbath vocalist, but Mr. Martin is my favorite. Treat yourselves to one of Black Sabbath's lesser known classics, "When Death Calls" to really hear Tony Martin's vocal prowess.
