Finding proper guidance in the game can be quite challenging, and it's rare to come across a KZbinr who explains things as effectively as this individual. Thanks to their guidance, I've mastered flying the Cessna 152 with ease. Their insights into key controls and camera settings were incredibly helpful.

I loved fed where you could pan around the cockpit with a hat switch and when you switch to external you used the same hat switch to pan around outside. In fact with the EZdok addon all of my int and ext cameras and panning where controlled by joystick buttons and hat switches. I didn’t have to fumble around in the dark for a keyboard or game pad at all and that’s how it should be.

Thanks for this tutorial. I am used to the x-plane 11 camera controls and UI. This seems like Asobo did as much as they possibly could to make the sim nothing like x-plane, consequently making the camera controls pointlessly complex and with a handful of important missing features too which is rather disappointing and makes finding the perfect viewpoint very difficult. However, this video has at least made it somewhat easier, it's definitely a learning curve, but thank you very much.

What I wonder is if the drone camera can be controlled with the mouse to look around too? Similar to sorta like Chaseplane, that and being able to remap the hotkeys for the default instrument views and I'd never need chase plane again honestly :'D Love the videos and work so far Paul! Hope you can get some deserved rest after this hectic week!
@birreboi3 жыл бұрын
Of course there is alternatives than using your keyboard for views, for a more 'realistic' look around. Firstly, TrackIR, but that is bloody expensive (around AU$440 !!). Something cheaper which I got is SmoothTrack - available for Apple and Android phones. It's around AU$15, so far cheaper than the TrackIR. Now I cannot compare the 2 as I have never used TrackIR, but I can say SmoothTrack works fine for me. The developer has a couple of videos on here, so just search for SmoothTrack.
