I've got bass in my ponds that would eat that tuna bait all day long and be able to swallow it. Just remember... if largemouth bass grew to 50 or 75 lbs... you couldn't let your dogs or kids swim in the lake. If they couldn't swallow them, they'd at least hold them down and try until they had drown...
