Our bank statements have multiple fields which could be used for matching - description, particulars, reference etc. Do you know if there is any way to concatenate these columns into one as we import the bank transactions?

Hey there, thanks for reaching out, i have done similar things before - you could either manipulate the file prior to import & collate the required fields or create a bespoke codeunit in BC which will do this for you, but bear in mind you may also need to modify the matching process in BC too - please reach out if you want to have a conversation about this! hope it all works out for you

Hi, Thank you for the helpful video. I have one more question: how can I pull bank statements from Business Central? For instance, in QuickBooks, you can retrieve bank statements directly from the software and then reconcile the accounts. These statements are linked directly from the bank to the software. Is there a similar feature available in Business Central?

@umerrazzak1031 hey! Thanks for reaching out! So you could potentially transport the bank statements via SFTP, rather than manually requesting them. But you would need to setup links with the bank to do this, maybe reach out to me on LinkedIn and we can have a call to discuss! Hope this helps

Is it possible to import the bank via webservice for second time?

Yes! We certainly can, I have done this with a few customers over the years, more recently in BC SaaS too. Obviously you need to ensure the bank supports open banking, then you're good to go!

Hi, many bank have file with debit colum and credit colum in std text file format (vs modifiy excel) How set up 2 amout colums in BC file exchange ?

Hi, you should be able to map both amount columns in your file into one amount column in BC! Hope this works for you!!
