We were pleased to have hosted the Data Science Seminar on "Trustworthy and Responsible AI," which took place on 11 March at the Delta Study Building. This seminar highlighted artificial intelligence as a critical focus for developing trustworthy and responsible technology. Emphasized by economic and regulatory frameworks, with a notable emphasis on the EU but also covering the US and China, the event underscored the necessity of new regulatory requirements. These are instrumental in transforming how humans interact with AI, ensuring that AI not only fosters new opportunities and markets but also upholds individuals' fundamental rights and liberties.
Assoc. Prof. Huber Flores organised the event. Abdul-Rasheed Ottun and M.M. Rasinthe Marasinghe moderated the Data Science Seminar.
