Hi Thanks for your good videos I work in a government office as a proposal writer. The challenges that the people are facing, the government alone cannot provide its financial support Therefore, it is necessary to get help from international organizations such as UN My question is, is it possible to write a grant proposal from the government framework for other donor organizations?

@bawarrahemi1471 Hello, and thank you for your kind words. It is true that government support has its limitations. If I read your question correctly, I would say that a government office cannot write on behalf of a non-government organization, since other NGOs might call that favoritism. But if the govt office works with the legislature to allocate funds for a new grant opportunity, then NGOs can openly apply for those dollars. Does that answer your question? @@grantchatter Thank you for your answer But my question is different In the government office where I work, they work in the field of natural disaster management When a natural disaster occurs, our office is responsible for delivering food and cash packages to the victims Due to economic problems, our government is not able to send this cash packages and food packages Therefore, it is necessary to ask for help (grant) from international institutions active in this field My question was, can I, as the proposal writer of this office, write a grant proposal to the aid organizations in this field so that they send us what we want for the people in need in disaster area?

Does a non-profit need a DUNS number or register for SAM.gov? Thanks in advance
