as of 2024-Feb, there is no free spark programming e-learning course anymore. only instructor-led course, $1500.

Which certification should I take first to benefit from the knowledge I gained in the first certification? Which one was more difficult for you?

Spark developer certification is more general (a Company can use Spark without using Databricks), and depending on your familiarity with Spark, can be medium to somewhat hard difficult level. Databricks data engineering certification is more plataform focused (although it shows familiarity with big data concepts), and depending of your familiarity with the platform, can be easy to medium difficult level. I think that Spark is more worth. And i was about to make Spark certification if werent the fact that i cant find pratice exams for free. Data engineering certification i can find a lot of pratice exams, and my Company has a partnership with Udemy so i can get pratice exams for free there. Spark certification unfortunatly no 😢.

If due to internet connection exam is stopped then we can restart the exam again?

Please ensure that you have a reliable internet connection before going for the exam. These what ifs questions are one off or extreme cases and final decision will be upto them. Only thing we can do is study and make sure our internet is reliable.
