Curious to see what you think of the original grip Jocky Wilson darts. I've been using a set of those since 2015, when I started playing darts. They're very reliable, and I still play my best darts with them, though the grip is gone at this point. They still feel fine with a little moisture on the fingertips. I just bought a set of these ghost grips, but they feel noticeably heavier than the originals, even at the same 22g weight. Not sure if old darts just get a little lighter over time with wear

I think darts do get a little lighter with use due to chips etc but it wont be a massive amount unless you have used the same set for 10 years or more. I had some original Jocky Wilson darts, had 2 sets. I sold them just before he died for around £15 each then a few weeks later people were selling them on ebay for £60 or more! :)

ive got the 26 gram with the ghost grip. are my 3rd set of darts after playing for a couple years and i must say they are just simple and fly straight as youd want them too. very nice.

probably the micro grip interacting with my release, its usually the case but also I have been trying to get a little more of my thumb in lately, just not quite got it right yet :)

Nice one again Darren. Have a few sets of Jocky ringed by Datadart and always have liked them. Plus, one can't go wrong with having the legend's name "Jocky" engraved on a barrel. Cheers.

None that I know of, you can buy longer points and change them yourself or ask the shop to fit them before you buy the darts though :)

I got them and i love them.But i was suprised that Data Darts match weight. guarantees u only 0.3 g ,other than Winmau Target or Unic. 0.1 g And as allways 😉Great Review👍

Well at least its within their tolerance but to be fair 0.3g is so small still, pretty sure most pros darts are all different weights when they have used them for a while but still I guess its a yardstick to measure quality control with :)

@@Liasos88 No, of course not. I don't mind buying new shafts and flights for a new set of darts. But the barrels are pretty boring and ugly too. SO many better options on the market.

@@Liasos88 yes and no. How the darts looks like is another criteria why people may decide to buy them or not. This is why the darts manufactures try to invent barrels as many shapes as possible and pack the darts as best as possible....
