Lever action shotguns were overshadowed by pump action shotguns since they didnt have any real advantage over them, having rougher operation and worse handling. They also had more moving parts exposed, so they were less reliable in harsh conditions. They were always a niche, and although they're really cool, didn't serve a super significant purpose. It's a video on the evolution of shotguns, not a video of every shotgun. So there isn't really much reason to include it here

The Browning Auto 5 was not the Widowmaker as it uses a charging handle like modern semi-autos. That title belongs instead to the Winchester Model 1911 that was made as essentially a ripoff of Browning's design. This was done to avoid infringing on the patent.

Well, the last shotgun was actually taken from a video game. The developers of some video game designed a shotgun for their game but they still follow real life physics and functions. They proposed their design to some guy at Kalashnikov Concern to get their approval of weapon design. But instead, they casually stole the design and renamed it to MP-155 Ultima and refused to pay royalties to the game developers. 🙃

Mossberg 500 is one of the most Tactical Combat horror game shotgun ever made (ex.Alien shooter, last stand etc.) but AA-12 is my Favorite shotgun specially because of the smooth body and the iron sight looks like made as Grenade launcher aiming sight and capable to put Grip, muzzle break or same length supressor barrel even shotgun shell types grenade launcher.

3:40 false. The 97 was used here and there but not used that often. Trench raids didn't happen often in ww1. A precise rifle had more value than a close quarter weapon. You can't take out the 08/15 machine gun position from 300 meters with a shotgun before you get turned into swiss cheese. If close quarter weapons were this practical in ww1 everyone would've been running around with the Bergmann mp18

The model 10 was unreliable, jammed easily, the stock could easily come off, the charging handles would stick if only one got bent, the bolt release would stick and become unreliable and the capacity was miniscule

The KS-23 is a rifle and not a shotgun due to the presence of riflings in the barrel which a regular shotgun have a smoothbore barrel and yes pump action rifle exist like the PAR-1 who is a pump action rifle using 7.62x39mm ak mags and the opposite exist with Russian bolt action shotguns
