These [simply explained] videos are so underapreciated! In only 5 min (or less, with a faster playback speed) I could understand what would take me some dozen minutes to hours. Thank you!

Great explanations! However, when talking using the term "positive correlation", I just wish you could add "which means increasing values of the independent variable correlates with increasing values of the dependent variable" 🙂

this is really nice video and good explanation. Thanks for that but I did not understand for the p value calculation? What are the two things did you compare to get it? We were talking about test sample and population?

What do you do if you have tied ranks? I've been trying to understand my professor's slides on it and there's nothing on there about tied ranks and our homework has a tied rank. I'm so lost.

If there are two people with the same age, should I write them the same rank or should I write one of them at a lower rank?
@tasneemmohammad24528 ай бұрын
hey you should take the average of the two ranks say if it is 5 and 6 then you should take it as 5.5

Add the rank their supposed to fall on together and devide it by 2, then both numbers will have the same ranking. After which you give the next number to be ranked the number that follows. E.g Let's say we have 2,3,4,5,6,6,7. You then rank it as ; 2=1 3= 2 4= 3 5=4 The two 6 which was supposed to be 5 and 6 will then be 5+6/2 =6.5 each, so they both will be ranked as 6.5 Then 7= 7, since the number that should come after 6 is 7. I don't know if you got it though

ahh no wonder i got confused at 3:09 I see that there is a 7-4=2 but to the left the original values are 6 and 4....so shouldn't it be 6-4=2? but anyways nice video
