I hope 2k fixes the shot feedback and make it more accurate. Sometimes it says “slightly early” or “slightly late” but in reality it’s early or very early. In game, it’s hard to adjust to the feedback when it’s not accurate, causing us to go into a shooting slump. If they fix the feedback, I think it’ll be more beneficial

I’ll never get over 2k adding the timing visual cue. Before last year i was a green machine from 19-22. I don’t know why they would introduce this feature and not have a timing for the release. Ik it says release is an option but if you’re a 2k vet, you know you’re not releasing square when your player releases the ball the way it used to be

Man everyone in these comments is saying all the things i feel. Shot feedback is a total lie this year. People missing wide open greens. Random hitch animations on wide open spot ups. Timing is different from game mode to game mode, the gatorade gym is NOT accurate this year. Lag spikes. Badges not working. We are all 9 days in at this point and can't find a jumpshot or timing, BUT, every game i play in the rec everyone i play against greens EVERYTHING thats 20% contested or less. There has to be a setting or jumpshot creator detail we are missing. I shot 70% last year, which was apparently the hardest year in a decade to shoot on 2k. This game just isnt working man.

That sucks. If you do what he says and just practice you'll get back. I went into a little slump too. Last year was the first year that I fully went no meter, stuck with the same jumper most of the year, paid attention to my hot zones, and go into a gym to practice for a bit every time I get on the game to get the timing of the day and my visual queue dialed in. Another thing that helps is playing the streetball challenges to get your hot zones. The games are quick and it helps you get badges and stuff too just like mycareer NBA games do. I also use push release timing which is similar to "late" from 2k23. Another thing that I'm not sure he mentioned that's really helped me in the past couple years is hardwiring my console to the router, buying a monitor instead of playing on a TV, plugging my controller into the console with the cord. It helps with the input lag of the Bluetooth controllers, gives you better Internet speeds to kill some lag, and the monitors have better frame rates than even the best TVs; which helps improve the visual delay. And if you can't do some of those things, or you try and still can't get right, you could always make an inside big man or a pure slasher/playmaker that excels in other areas and can still be helpful to a team and maybe be fun for you. I tried the jumpshots that Joe mentioned in previous video , i changed the timing of the release , i used shooting boosts , i practiced by shooting hundreds of shots everyday.... NOTHING! We play good basketball with passing vission and basketball IQ , im letting free and i brick EVERY SINGLE SHOT! Also i lag so much... ! many times when i press to shoot suddenly a lag spike happens or a frame drop... I can't understand what's the real problem so i can fix it... It's a totally mess! My build is a "2 way 3pt threat" PF with 80 3pt! Finally, i use the controller connected via cable on the console, i have fiber Internet connected via LAN cable on the console and i play on a Samsung Qled TV with low input lag. One other thing that i noticed is that i meet US players on EU servers... We are all together playing with 120+ pings ! 2k must fix the game!

Theyre going to patch shooting bc if they dont theres going to be a mass exudes. 90% of the people I play against shoot worse than 30% from 3. Imagine getting wide open and bricking every shot. Thats how 90% of the community is feeling. I have no problem with the system if there was no delay but its so bad there are 4 different timing for each game mode and that doesnt even include when they close the green window completely if you miss your first two shots.
