I think Mark has enough looks and enough charm to *woo* a Lovely Lady such as Bree (rather than “score” which is a bit crass and probably more about a very short-term sexual interaction), but the question is where did he fall down? I think women want you to build up a *fantasy* around *themselves* rather than a fictional character or anything else, and because an obsession with one precludes the other - you might go from being an attractive proposition to being not so attractive. By fantasy, I don’t mean start talking about the “white picket fence” straight up, I mean first trying to *vibe* with her one on one, and slowly peel back all those layers to get to the core of her, which might take some time if she’s been hurt as is the case here. Then as the connection develops and feelings *naturally* come forth towards each other, I think you will *gradually* start building up a fantasy around her, & vice versa her you as the Trust grows. I think all women want their fantasy to come True but what exactly that fantasy *constitutes* could be dramatically different depending on the individual. Certainly, some people may have fantasies that are far more “materialistic” than others, but I think a lot of people these days just want a deep & meaningful *inter-personal connection* that is able to last the test of time. Obviously, this is only possible if you’re not just trying to take her to bed straight away and if you’re actually willing to put in *effort* to establish a solid connection. Although, I still think you need to apply that *subtle sexual charm* to build up “sexual chemistry” which will very much *feed* the fantasy, you would need to be very careful to avoid coming across as someone who views her *only* as a source of superficial sexual pleasure. Bearing in mind, the women who are more physically attractive might be *tentative* when it comes to this, simply because corrupted men have “baited & switched” so much (1). I reckon for a lot of guys these days the fantasy is limited to the sex you can engage in with someone, for whatever reasons which undoubtedly includes the effect of pornography. But if you are looking for a deep & meaningful relationship I think the fantasy should be much more than that - it should be *her,* ie. everything she is about, everything she believes in, everything she does etc, that appeals uniquely to you. I reckon it would also include the *potential* of everything she wants to *improve* about herself and everything she wants to *become* as well, and vice versa for the guy. Then as the connection builds up the fantasy will naturally begin to include everything you can do *for* each other (2), everything you can *build* together, everything you can *do* together, everywhere you can *go* etc. The sexual component could very well form *part of* the fantasy, and a welcome part at that just because of how much fun it is and how it can bring you closer, but I think you have to *take care* to not make it the “be all & end all” of a relationship, and I think *part of* the reason people cheat, even on a “stunner” such as this, is because they make it so and then they get bored. Note, I think there’s a huge difference between a “fantasy” and an “obsession”, often the women who have serious self-worth issues will want you to be absolutely *obsessed* with them, and they will derive their self-worth from *nothing* other than that, and I think being obsessed with a woman *to that degree* is severely self-limiting, and in many cases it can be downright *self-destructive* if you don’t have a *very* strong spiritual foundation. Perhaps you could consider a fantasy to be the more “purified” version of an obsession, whereby if it is a mutually exclusive connection *and* you’re both working in a *reciprocal* manner as discussed elsewhere to feed the fantasy, the fantasy will not lead to the self-destruction of one half but will *eventually* become a *whole new reality* for both yourselves. So long as you both remain *committed* to each other and whatever it is you *believe* in that allows you keep this together, for which I recommend *some* form of Spiritual Practice. 1. Note, to bait & switch a woman in that way who otherwise has very pure intentions in wanting to establish a deep & meaningful connection, I think could be considered quite *egregious* behaviour for which you will suffer negative karmic consequences if not in this Life & After. I guess it would be great if there were some form of social penalty for baiting & switching people in that way, and in the absence of an actual criminal penalty which is probably a bit “inappropriate”, perhaps “naming & shaming” them in whatever way you can could achieve exactly that. Also, there may be attitudes out there that a woman has to dress a certain way and avoid *all* manner of sexual behaviour to not come across as being “sexually promiscuous” if she wants to establish a deeper connection such as above. I think it should go without saying that in a society such as this in the modern age where people can see far *deeper* into the human *being,* those perceptions are *totally unfounded* and a woman can dress in whatever manner she deems fit to emphasise whatever characteristics she wants to emphasise without people *presuming* that she is just looking for sex. Also, just because a woman has attractive physical qualities and seeks to emphasise them as such does not mean that she is lacking in *substance* elsewhere, whether that be in terms of spiritual being, intellect, ambition, or whatever, and it is the people who are either superficially judgmental or lacking in substance *themselves* that often make such presumptions. I think this is an important point because the more physically attractive women (or even not *as much* but who just dress a certain way), are often subject to this presumption and that impedes the establishment of a deeper connection with them, which could be as *meaningful* as any other. It could also be why some people become “amorously unsatisfied” with them *regardless* of how attractive they are (due to *their own* sensual corruptions), if you appreciate their “substantive being” I can guarantee that would not happen. 2. Note, previously I said “from Love for Love for each other”, I think that was a bit confusing & inaccurate because it made it seem as if you’re not *ultimately* doing it for each other, and as if you’re *ultimately* doing it for an external entity, which is incorrect although if you do believe in a Higher Power I think you will be doing all of this as each yourselves and your relationship being *part of* that. But in line with that, what I actually meant was that you have to have a *reference point* for what Love is that is beyond each yourselves, and vest yourselves *within* that reference point, you cannot make it *just* each other’s ideas of what Love is because that can very much get corrupted and perverted by all sorts of things that exist out there in the sensual realm.
