Florida weather during winter tends to be shorts-weather during the day (bring an umbrella or light rain jacket for those pop-up showers), and sweater weather at night. It's still warm overnight but sometimes a breeze will make it cooler. Bring a day sweater for super air conditioned buildings! Don't forget lots of sunscreen too!

Hi Lily! I'm in Miami and this winter was nonexistent for us in Florida. Jeans/shorts and a tee. But take a light cardigan because sometimes the night can get windy. Depending on the park you may also get wet from the water rides. Enjoy!

Hi Lily, I actually just got finished with an internship at Disney! Right now, jeans and t-shirts would be acceptable but you are probably used to a colder climate. I would bring shorts, a few pairs of jeans, and a light jacket for evenings. The weather has been in the upper 70s lately, so pretty nice all in all :)

Hi Lily! I live in Florida and the weather is a bit flip floppy! Meaning, it could be a high of 60 degrees Fahrenheit one day and the next day a high of 80. You may want to prepare for both. Jeans and trainers as well as shorts and flip flops:-) hope this is helpful.

FLA is hit/miss in January but it will be mostly warm. Short weather but bring a pair of jeans.

Florida: Jeans, T-shirt, flip flop, light jacket weather. It is not too hot, but it may or may not rain. Be ready for rain, so make sure you bring closed toe shoes as well. :) My mom will be traveling there the same time as you will be. She always packs multiple outfits because the weather seems to change throughout the day. Have fun!

I live in central florida near Disney and it's been warm in the day (short sleeves) and cool enough in the evening for a light sweater. A few colder days here and there where you can wear a jacket.

Florida weather at the end of January could literally be jeans and long-sleeves and boots one day and shorts and tanktop (vest) and flip flops the next day. It shouldn't be nearly as cold as London though, so as long as you pack some warmer weather clothes and some cool weather clothes, you should be fine. Plus since you're used to colder weather, what's not that hot for us may be really hot for you, and what's super cold for us may be mild to you. Good thing is if you get here and haven't packed something it turns out you really need weather-wise, you can always get it from Walmart or Target for cheap.

I went to Florida this time last year, was very different each day! One day was absolutely freezing in DisneyWorld where we bought Disney beanies because it was that cold, but then another day it was t-shirt and jeans.

It's definitely not cold, can be a little rainy but for the most part it'll be warm. Just have a few sweaters for the night time and maybe just one jacket incase. SO cool you're coming here ^_^

Hi Lily! I was born in Florida and have lived here my whole life. The weather in Florida is very bipolar in the winter. I would bring a mix of light layers. You should bring shorts and sandals as an option. Orlando weather in the winter is probably similar to London weather in late spring. It can be very warm, or we could have a cold spell (and I mean cold by our standards). We are wimps when it comes to cold weather!

I wash my brushes in Magic Soap too, but I squeeze some in a bowl and fill it with warm water and let the brushes soak for a little bit, then it's so easy to clean them. Just a tip:)

Hi Lily. Just a tip, when you have washed your brushes you need to angle them, so the brush hair end hangs below the other end. Otherwise water can sink into the handle and loosen the glue holding the brush hairs. XX

i was in florida during christmas time. i was in the south part of florida, but the weather was really nice. you can wear short during the day but i would say you should bring a pair of jeans and a cardigan for the nighttime!

Ahh Disney, that's exciting! Florida this time of year could be anywhere from 18-30 degrees Celsius. I would prepare for rain in the afternoons because thats probably if not likely. The weather has been quite pleasurable lately.

I would never do Disney on flipflops, regardless of the temperature. All that walking around and rides that you may lose them on. Watch some of Lorraine Stanicks or Nicole Guererro's videos to get an impression of the weather outfits, they're in Florida.

I live in central Florida and lately the weather has been really confusing. Last week it was quite cold (sweater/jeans weather) but this week it's been pretty warm, humid, and rainy. As in, makeup melting off your face gross. I'd pack a mixture of clothes because you can't really predict whether it'll be cooler or humid and disgusting. Honestly though, Orlando isn't a very fashionable city, so there's no need to go nuts with outfits. Plus, you don't need anything fancy at Disney anyway. I know you didn't ask for temperatures, but it has been anywhere from 60-80 lately (sorry, couldn't help myself), so be prepared for cooler and warmer weather.

The UK has loads of great cities with good universities, don't limit yourself to London. I go to Sheffield. Not super close to London but so fun, so much today, loads of beautiful countryside AND loads to do.

I live Orlando, FL! You guys will have a great time! You would probably be more comfortable in your trainers...lots of walking. We (me, my husband and 3 kids) were Disney pass holders last year and loved it. If you plan on eating in the park try Be Our Guest plus get a Dole Whip :) have fun!
