I never watched Sonic SATAM (not born in the right era). Is Antoine actually speaking french sometimes like this in the original ? Because as a french person, I can guarantee you there's absolutely nothing french in the way he pronounces these french words. If he's actually supposed to be french, he should be able to talk and pronounce words in french properly, don't you think ? ^^'

Yes. And his persona is the show is stereotypical to say the least. From his overall cowardly and romantic personality, to a scene where he gets captured and the villains intentionally mess up French cuisine to torture him, i.e pouring too much batter for a crepe or using margarine instead of butter for escargot.

The series is based on stills made by thefunnipixelman on Deviantart, and the storyline goes like this: Eggman is ousted and Sonic more or less gets banished by the king because he doesn’t approve of his and Sally’s relationship. After Sonic leaves, Sally ultimately retires from being a freedom fighter and falls into a depression from her responsibilities as a princess, getting a small yet cute paunch. She then gets encouragement from her friends and a returned Sonic for small rendezvous such as this. Ant and bunnie are indeed married, and it’s just as wholesome as in the comics, and on halloween each year the characters become Weres because of latent Dark Gaia energy seeping up from the earth.
