Samantha Fish is ONLY getting better as she grows ' older " .. From her beauty to her sense of fashion to incredible guitar-playing ! I have seen her 3 times in the past 3 years at the Fine Line Nightclub in downtown Mpls ! They rank in the Top 10 of all the concerts have ever seen and have been to over 1,000 concerts since the mid - 1980s . Sam always waits to the last fan in line to autograph and take selfies of this Babe at her Meet - and - Greets ! She is very polite and called me ' Sir ".. Yes Ma'am hope to see you perform again soon !

Nothing against her horn section players but I think she sounds better as a singer and player without them. It gets to be a circus. I don’t know why you would want to tour with anymore than this. Gibbons seems to have done just fine at it.

Recording in a relatively small room with professional equipment helps. And the trio format certainly showcases the guitarist's timing and tone to the ultimate. But a larger band gives you more sonic textures and that helps the performer as well as the audience stay interested. Post-pandemic, she came back with first a trio, then a quartet with Matt Wade on keys, then a 5-piece joint project with singer-guitarist Jesse Dayton for a version of the classic two-guitar rock band sound. Probably next year will be something different again.
