The guy who'd lived in Australia since he was 16 actually looked different to me - I can't say specifically how, but his posture and how he carried himself differed from the others. These subtle changes I think are found in a lot of cultures.

Hi, The word 'farang(ฝรั่ง)' is not all foreigner(ชาวต่างชาติ). Farang is more specific for Caucasian or white people. For example, if Thai people go overseas they are not Farang but they are foreigner. Hope my explanation make you understand it and sorry if you know that already. Thank you

What about a Thai person dating someone who's Thai but was adopted at an early age and not knowing Thai? You'd look Thai both of you, but one doesn't speak the language
