I asked my 22 year old daughter for some makeup advice for my doll and got alienated. So much for modern age and discrimination as after two divorces and numerous girl friends I have difficulty relating and end up on my own. Thank you for sharing your story! I hope more people see this. I am planning on buying my first doll and maybe my only doll. I think society balks at this at first but is then secretly curious. The rate of people choosing this lifestyle is picking up, so I don't feel so alone. As a female, I even thought, maybe I will start a youtube channel like Jay Doll King Hefner or K.E.P. Personally I think it's more he doesn't want a real person because he can't control them from a lot of what he explained in the video. Psychologically I wonder if it's healthy on having an object that doesn't respond back. He seems to react like the doll has emotions in turn and like it needs him when it doesn't need anything. I could see if it had an AI with a function to respond back maybe at least a social aspect would be there to provide social health. Great documentary. I've had my 4'7" love doll for 3 years now. It's not purely a sexual interest, it's also about LOVE. Society, especially in the united states is very judgemental. Physically, since I'm 5'6", I'm almost a foot taller. I doesn't really hinder much. While sleeping next to her, I'm still able to look into her eyes but of course it's awkward at first; but in reality, guys are typically taller than girls they date anyway. As far as making love, there's no issues, but if you got a doll more than a foot shorter than you, there would be many. The real physically limiting factor is weight, the taller a doll, the more she weighs. Moving the doll around with ease is much more important. Finding the right size to weight ratio right for you, is important as a doll owner.

I had a coworker who was so gentle and loving that he could not keep any relationship, he was considered too nice and boring (the type of guy who would try so hard to be helpful that he would become annoying). Cats are overrated and terrible they are cute when little sure but when they're big they are mean , lazy and won't shut up when they want to mate male or female... A dog is better or a chicken.. people really underrate the chicken as a pet because it's mostly seen as food but they are the easiest birds to care for... Just let it run around they yard bird feed is cheap and if you forget to feed it can live off bugs plant and fruits for a while......

Even though I own a doll myself I don't really think people should use them for companionship substitute.. At the end of the day it's still an intimate object... that can't talk back or anything.. So at the end of the day you'd still just be talking to yourself.....For loneliness I think a pet would be more appropriate... Of course it would be different if the doll had some sort of semi sentient A.I but we decades away from that..
