Hi Rod, branching away a bit from your normal genre but interesting all the same. We have an older female family member here currently being sucked in by an online scam with promises of marriage which ain't gonna happen. Trying to convince her its all fake and only after her modest income is an impossibility. She believes it!!!

Good Filipinas will not ask you for money. They are too proud. Maybe they would ask for money for load (which is very cheap) so they can continue to facetime with you. Most Filipinos have internet at home so am not sure why you would want to meet a girl that is so poor. Plenty of Filipinas in the Philippines with siblings and all having jobs that help pay the family bills. Use common sense, don't send money to someone you never met in person. Watch for red flags and pay attention to them. Didn't take me long to find my Filipina wife online. Had to go through a lot of questionable girls though. Good video, Rod...Jim

As a matter of fact, I found someone online, a FB member of a group in the Philippines that I adored. Got a passport, a plane ticket and we have been together over 2 years. Low maintenance, and a pleasure to be with. I am retired and she is a senior like me, not too much younger in my league.

Crown Regency Mactan has a shuttle service to and from the airport I think. Waterfront Hotel is just across the street from terminal 1, Clayton. Otherwise checkout booking.com

Park Hill Hotel is cheap but decent with nearby restos and spa. Waterfront hotel is right across the road from the airport, a little nicer and more expensive.

Seriously there are some sad and desperate men out there that will do anything for a little female attention. My asawa is Filipina and we long distant dated for a few years.. with non of the asking for money or any of the tricks. Some men will never learn .. you cant fix stupid. Let them get scammed they are probably "wrong 'uns" anyway just looking for sex tourism. Make all foreigners look bad!!
