The dating pool is small when you consider certain factors. Yes there’s 3mill people on the island, but that 3m includes the old, underaged, same sex (depending on your sexuality) and those that are undateable. But if you’re dating in your parish & neighbouring parish then the circles eventually cross, especially since most people meets up at either Uwi or Utech at some point.

Interesting. I hope you guys don’t think it’s better in other countries, especially America 😀 The only thing I can say maybe they’re a tad less possessive in America and the pool is larger, which in and of itself, is a blessing and a curse. You have more options, don’t have to deal with trifling folks but also more opportunities for infidelity. So nowhere has it better. Just pray, ask for discernment and make the best of it. Respect people, run when you see flags and just be honest, especially with yourself.

If you have a list of must have when dating then the pool will get small bad bad for eg. 1. he/she must drive 2. he/she must own their own business 3. He/she must have a degree 📜 4. He/she must live alone etc apart from the must have the lack or seriousness when dating makes it worst.

I find dating some Jamaican is bizzare. I found some of the men to be so judgemental. They are emotionally immature. I heard one guy sad he would date some who wears eyelashes!! I was so shocked. I didnt have lashes but this was an instant turn off. Like, the judgement on other people? Nah
