Marwa when you choose a significant counterpart be sure that she is an authentic person who loves and respect herself, and loves her Creator. Vet her out and make sure she is not with you for an ulterior motive of selfishness to gain from what you already have. One of the thing I remember from a month-long visit to Germany a few years ago was how I was able to find some really, really good deals on food at the grocery story. Usually it was stuff that simply had to be sold that day or thrown away, and it was marked down considerably. If you wanted to, you could simply walk to the grocery store every day, buy whatever was on sale, and just make a day's worth of meals out of that. There's just not an equivalent system where I live in the US. Grocers would rather throw food away than to heavily discount it.

Hi Marwa, Listening is the key to learning. when you asked someone a question give them the opportunity to answer its poor manners to interject and cut someone off when they responding. the young lady was very frustrated. If I was her I would have no choice but to walk away. I understand you are excited about the trip to Negril and Jamaica but stay focused and not get carried away. thats just my perspective and I'm sure may of your followers agree. @intelmedgroup9320 I did not want to say anything but after I saw your comment, I changed my mind. Never have I been more frustrated with a Marwa video than this one. The poor young lady could not get a good answer through. He kept interrupting her! Don't get me wrong. Marwa is a nice person. I have nothing against him. However, he needs to learn how to listen. Also, he's a scatter brain. He cannot keep his mind on one thing for more than a second. He would be a phenomenal KZbinr if he could learn to be more patient and focussed. At this stage we all know a lot about him. But we need to know more about his guests than him. At various times it's as though he's competing with his guests! This woman was very interesting and had a lot of wisdom for her age but we learned very little about her, unfortunately. Anyway, I still thank Marwa for sharing the video. What a pity that it could all have been a much more useful experience but what can one do? This seems to be a permanent Marwa thing.

iam_marwa That ackee fruit tree you saw, is originally from Africa; West Africa to be exact and was introduced to Jamaica by Captain Bligh's mission to replenish and customize the tropical food supplies of the Caribbean and other places the days of Chattel Slavery. Also, the breadfruit trees, mangoes and others except for the star apple, naseberry, pimiento and others that are native to Jamaica. That young lady from the USA really knows what she's saying, she really learnt a lot and spoke exactly as it is. Also, I'm happy that the views on walking barefooted came up. The reason, a few years ago I remembered ridiculing an argument you made while on a visit to Tanzania about being poor wearing sandals. I was scolded by one of your homies for arguing in the opposite. Of course, I didn't mean anything bad really but now that that young lady expressed the importance of walking barefooted as a healthy way of healing the body by interaction with the earth's energies will dispel the thoughts of others who felt belittled going without shoes occasionally. Another point to made is that that yellow viny weed that wrapped around the top of the plant you said also existed in Africa is called dodder as well as "love bush" in Jamaica. It was good hearing your views on it re-tainting with blood etc. And as you may know, it is also a parasitic plant and is used as an herbal medicine in Jamaica as well. Keep enjoying. I'm just an elder watching the younger generation a good time. Bless 🙏🏿.

It came from Africa on necklaces and hand beads worn by enslaved Africans. What you are talking about is breadfruit and it isnt from Africa. Ackee isnt eaten in Africa so it never came as a source of food. For years, many in Jamaica died trying to eat Ackee before they got it right. Pimento aka all spice is native to Jamaica and is actually from Jamaica. Most mangoes in Jamaica are from Asia, not Africa

She is very correct. Europeans especially young people travel on a budget and make it. Backpackers from Europe have been all over Africa for decades. One thing with a lot of black people is we love to fake it unti we make it. There is one brother from the US who does youtube and stays in hostels and I have seen fellow brothers mostly African American clowing him for staying at a hostel. So you can imagine there are many who will actually not travel because they think they have to be in a resort which is not cheap. Last time I was in Jamaica i stayed at a resort costing about $300 per night and next time I will do AirBnB for the local experience.

Yes, you can lengthen your stay if you don't have to pay so much on a hotel. When I visited Ghana I paid $30/night at a hotel. It was small and quaint, but clean, had 3 swimming pools, and breakfast was included. I paid $5 more dollars for dinner which I looked forward to every day. That gave me the opportunity to stay there for 6 weeks!

@@frana.4086 Precisely and its good to share information because everyone has a different price point. Travel should not be seen as a luxury good. Marwa captures the natural beauty of Negril.[Eclectic friut trees, waters, palm trees, pensiveness, tranquility.] However- the beautiful young lady discourse/interview was immensely interesting and insightful. I like that she had more substance than just her beauty which is an anomaly these days. 1:06:26

People from all over the world travel to Jamaica with their Husbands , Wives , Girlfriend or Boyfriend and they don’t lose their partners Many Singles go to Jamaica just to find a Partner
@muchit3629
@muchit3629 10 ай бұрын
They may have been a bit dramatic. I have visited Jamaica. I think we get the message which is you have to watch your partner in Jamaica because some of the guys do not care or respect boundaries. Hitting on married women or women accompanied by other men is not tolerated in most countries and could be reasons for a fight which is all unnecessary.

Not because the minimum wage is a certain amount, doesn't mean everyone is making minimum wage. Also if you in areas that have high demand from international visitors you going to pay more, you can't just compare that with Kenya.

@@4evahodlingdoge226 I am a Jamaican and i noticed that the only time they do it is if your man move from beside you even for a split second. They dont usually cat call because they never know what someone can pull on them. They will usually tell the guy that their woman looks good and big him up, but they wont approach the woman at the same time the man is next to them. Thats just my experience though, maybe yours is different.

I came across your Channel. I traveled when I was younger doing summer jobs abroad. I relocated to Jamaica and only came back to the UK for work as a part-time flight attendant, from 5 years old I stayed with my grandfather upon the hills until I was ten as my mama wanted me back and I promised myself when I was older my destiny was to come back and I fulfilled my dreams, the best decision I made. Up in the hills is the most peaceful life, good food, and vitamin D from the sun, pick my own food, and have learned so much about herbs. I'm truly happy.

You really need someone to help you make sure you're guess are comfortable. KO??? ❤❤❤😊😊😊

Jamaica has a special place in my heart as my best friend of 40 years is of Jamaican origin and his daughter is my godchild. I always wanted to visit but never got to it for some reason. Now I have to say I wouldn't be able to afford it. The prices are shocking. That's like London or Swiss levels in a shack by the road. The landscapes are amazing though and the people are kind and it's all irie. Yah man. But sorry Jamaica, mi cyaan afford yuh.
