How does it make someone not mature to get into a relationship after a break up? It's not a one size fits all. As long as the kids' needs are being met, that's all that matters.🙄

Truth is they have two mature responsible parents. They both provide a roof over their head, clothes on their back, food for their bellies. Just because you don't like that two people who where not meant to be together and personally where not involved in their relationship to know why each party felt the way they felt or moved forward on the steps they did or how life sometimes happens and people fall apart and come together does not give you any right to bash these kids parents specially with low blows. It's sad to see how individuals will degrade people when of you look at the whole picture the kids are happy and healthy and that should be the main focus and it's been for the parents to ensure that! Food for thought it's 2023 bashing and judgment on a personas life that you get a glimpse into is silly.

@@AnnA-jd4xm it’s one thing to go into another relationship but another to go into a relationship with your best friends fiancé. No one has anything against her dating again but to cheat with your best friends fiancé and continue to lie about it is the immature part.

@@AnnA-jd4xm how can you work on yourself or even heal as a person if you just jump right into another very long term relationship? I used to jump from relationship to relationship when I was younger, I was very immature and not self-confident at all. I have since going to therapy and have been single for two years now on purpose.

It isn't selfish to focus on you and the kids. If anything, it would be selfish to date for validation and happiness. You have 4 kids, and just got out of a relationship. And not only that, the relationship was tough and trust was lost on both ends. When it's meant to be it will happen. Don't force happiness. You are thriving now, and will continue to thrive and grow. Best of luck.

The Gospel of Salvation/Warnings JESUS CHRIST is the only Lord and Savior this whole creation needs. Please turn to Jesus Christ and get saved now while his grace is still merciful for he is coming soon! John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”. Isaiah 45:18 “For this is what the Lord says- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited he says: “I am the Lord, and there is no other”. Deuteronomy 32:39 “See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand”. Philippians 2:8-11 “And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”. JESUS CHRIST WAS GOD IN THE FLESH; Son of God. John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it”. John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth”. How to get SALVATION (be saved): 1. Admit that you are a sinner. Romans 3:32 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death”. 2. Believe that Jesus paid for your sin at the cross. Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”. Romans 6:23 “but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus”. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” 3. Confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and commit your life to him. Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”. 4. Repent (What does repent mean and do? To repent is a change of mind, that leads to a change of heart, that leads to a change in actions. This “change” involves both a turning from sin and a turning to God.) Mark1:15 “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Luke 13:3 “But unless you repent, you too will all perish”. Acts 3:19 “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord”. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance”. Once you come to Salvation then comes baptism. (Baptism is an act in which symbolizes one’s renewal/purification and becomes a child of God with the power of the Holy Spirit through water, whether the water is poured on to the forehead or one’s body is immersed into it. This symbolizes the death of our flesh with Christ and our new life through Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.) Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Galatians 2:20 “ I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 3:26-27 “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” 1 Peter 3:21 “And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” WARNINGS!!! Anyone who does not have Jesus Christ will always be condemned and their righteous deeds are like filthy rags. Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit”. Isaiah 64:6 “All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away”. Do not worship/sacrifice to other gods; you will only bring harm to yourself. Jeremiah 25:6 “and do not go after other gods to serve them and to worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you no harm”. Deuteronomy 8:19 “It shall come about if you ever forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish”. 1 Corinthians 10:20 “No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons”. TAKE HEED NOW!!! Jesus Christ wants you to have a personal relationship with him. He cares and loves you more than his own life that he gave it up for you to be saved. Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind; to atoned away all of our sins with his precious life and blood, that we may share in his Kingdom (1 John 2:2 “He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world”). Jesus Christ is not about being religious but to be in unity with him and allow him to deliver you from the bondage that this sinful body (flesh) is doomed for; God’s wrath (John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him”). Only through Jesus Christ will you ever get to heaven (John 10:9 “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture”). Seek Jesus Christ only: no other gods can save you from God’s wrath. God’s wrath is not a joke or to be taken lightly (Hebrews 10:31 “It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”). Remember he is our Creator and all things are possible with him (Matthew 19:26). May God bless you and soften your heart to discern the truth that is in Christ Jesus, the Lord of Lords and King of Kings; the Savior of this world. AMEN!!!!

I honestly can’t even imagine having to deal with someone who was once your friend, someone you welcomed in to your home and hung out with your family and had game nights with you and your fiancé, now having to respect the fact that he took your life from you. 100% this is what I was thinking. I went through it with someone who worked with my husband, and talked to me and gave my kids things. I found out and felt so betrayed. I couldn't imagine if that person had been in my home, repeatedly, and became a friend. I don't know if I would have handled it as well if it were that way, but Oscar is handling it amazingly. And I believe a lot of it is for his kids, and I will always applaud him for it.

Oscar, it's extremely appropriate and mature, and not selfish at all that you're focusing on yourself and the kids. When you're a parent, especially to little kids, the more energy and work you put into creating a healthier version of yourself whether its mental, physical, financial health, whatever your goals are (and frankly any adult could better themselves in at least one if not all of those aspects), the better off your kids will be. Congrats on making smart choices! I always love Q&A videos and really enjoyed this one. Also so happy to hear everyone is able to be civil and keep the peace with all the changes happening. You guys are GOOD parents. You're putting the children first by all getting along, as best as you can. Loved the video & the maturation shown in answering these questions. Your growth & introspection during an absolutely devastating situation all for the sake of the children is amazing. Your actions & words during this as you move forward with life will have lifetime affect on the kids mentally, emotionally, & physically. So your sacrifice, though very hard in the moment is worth it in the long run. Your children didn’t ask to be born into this situation so they should never be the ones “punished” by the actions/words of their parents. Children come first PERIOD.

Oscar, you are mature beyond your years. It's so heartening to see how you bear no malice to the one who left you or her BF. You have such a big heart and I hope that 2023 will bring you and your kids nothing but happiness and joy. You so deserve it after what you have gone through in the past year.

Oscar you are so mature and have your priorities in the right place. Taking time to concentrate on you and your children is exactly what one should do upon separation. For the children, this is actually a selfless action. So happy for you.

Oscar, I’m loving these vlogs! I never followed OK Baby or any family vloggers but I heard about your story and family story from the dad challenge podcast and came to check out your solo channel stuff. Your authenticity is refreshing and your vlog style is fun! Perfect length and love that you’re not super focusing on your children, but more about sharing your journey as an adult/person/parent!

Liked the style of the vid! I know you’re showing us this awesome new strength you’ve found but let’s be real… healing takes time. It’s okay to put yourself first and be selfish. I was a single parent for a long time and couldn’t imagine jumping into another relationship after a broken one. You’re doing what’s right and you should be proud of that. The next person (if you choose to have a next) will get the best version of yourself and they will be up to par because you attract what you put in. The quality of people that you attract will be elevated. Trust me on this! We’re here for you Oscar!

Always nice to see a proud dad. Closure is a process. Even though I made the choice to leave my toxic ex, it still hurts a lot when you wanted so badly to turn it around. When you’re ready to date, I’m sure you’ll find a very nice girl.

You rock because you reflect and its not selfish but healthy. You made a grown up decision to not stumble into a new relationship with past baggage... best decision you made for everyone around you and for your future.

You need time to heal and figure yourself out & the best way to do that is by yourself with your kids! You deserve the world and hope You get everything you want in life!

Oscar every time I think you made the best video; you make a better one. The questions were great but your answers were amazing. Your are a fantastic generous human being. Putting you and your children first is the most mature and loving thing ever. Your acceptance of the situation just proves your love for the kids is more important than having animosity towards the bf. Life is going to reward you for unselfish intentions. Love to you and your beautiful family! 💖🥰👍
