Yes he's making the common mistake that guys do when they've only read the book once or twice. If you're trying to use the ideas in the book as techniques, trying to manipulate the girls attraction level, she will pick up on it and it will turn her off. The book is not about manipulating and techniquing a girl into liking you.. it's more of a philosophy about ALLOWING her to explore spending time with you when those doors of opportunity open. In my opinion it's good to listen to the audiobook dozens of times and I do enjoy listening to the videos he puts up. Most of us already know some of the things in the book but if we are learning and start to second-guess or worry about losing the partner then of course we manifest that loss. Just have a good time. Hmmm. Something just dawned on me. I was thinking of an analogy of selling something online like a truck for example. If Someone expressed interest in the truck with a text this is good. But if I then started sending texts like "want to come see the truck today?" "It's a great truck! This is a great deal. Text me back to arrange to see it" or "Ok yes come see the truck on Saturday (and it's currently Monday)" and you text everyday confirming they still want to see and buy the truck. This would naturally cause doubt in the buyer that I am to desperate to sell the truck and therefore the truck loses its appeal.

If there are long delays or no responses in the first week - keep the cards open, keeping talking to other people. If she hasn't responded in hours or day(s) to your last text and the ball is clearly in her court, DON'T follow-up, talk to other people. 9/10 the follow-up will turn them off (perhaps even piss them off) and there's already a significant chance the interest just isn't strong. If she's moody in the beginning already - time to get up and go... out of self respect. Women you know is not representative of the population. He's pretty spot on and it's a good indicator. Barring extraordinary circumstances, if a woman isn't sleeping with you by the second or third date, it's actually a red flag that her sexual attraction isn't strong enough and she's possibly going to use the man as a provider. And just because we sleep with a woman in that timeframe absolutely doesn't mean that we aren't looking for a relationship. The norm these days is that exclusivity and official status comes after sleeping together for a while. I don't know if you're in some third world country or whatever but that's how it is in the United States - at least the metropolitan areas here. The people I know and myself, our serious relationships all started that way. Most of my friends feel pressured to sleep with guys early but most of them don't feel comfortable with that. The party girls I know who have been habituated to not listen to themselves will sleep with guys early but usually feel crushed if the guy doesn't call back. I'm really lucky in that the guys I've dated in the past were very understanding of wanting to take things slow. This is the advice women get, a man's heart is in his wallet. I don't care what men say, because they always proof with their actions it is true. Women take it slowly, let him invest. And guys, women feel so turned off when they're the chasers. Do you want a feminine woman, be a masculine man? This sounds like men acting as ladies and the two of you not doing anything. I prefer being alone than with a bunch of guys that act exactly as me
