Problem is if you don't study the material long enough and you don't regularly put it into practice it is just a theory for you. You don't live and breathe it. So you might judge the guy but had you found yourself heart struck by a woman that knocked your socks off in an instant, you'd forget about all the pirnciples as you generally don't have time to strategically think what will be your next move when you are interacting in person. Then your real habits show up. And you might be hitting your head saying you knew better than what you did..

Not true at all. If you read his book 10-15 times and APPLY what you’ve learned, then it becomes 2nd nature and you do it instinctively and don’t have to stop and think every move. The real danger is when you do get into a relationship and you haven’t been reading the book one or twice a year and become complacent. Now when things go south and you’re emotionally attached and start screwing up, that’s the real danger zone.
