As a cancer survivor myself since 2015, I couldn't imagine the impact it would have had on my better half if the treatments failed. God bless that gentleman in the 3rd story.

Great stories, Peter. The third story was unfortunate indeed. My mom has been a nurse for over 40 years, and she taught me to take care of myself and go to the doctor and get a full checkup every year... If I ever get married, I'll be sure to remind my wife to go to the doctor and get a full regular check. ...sorry for your loss, my friend...

For the gentleman who lost his wife. It is my hope and prayer that you are not blaming yourself for her death. I have known the finality of death from a very young age. Even if action was taken earlier, the outcome may have been the same. All who lost a loved one needs time to morn and heal from their loss. You have been blessed to have had the loving relationship you both had. There are many in this world that live a life not knowing the great blessing of having a mate they feel completely at one with. Your wife now lives within you. I’m certain she wants you to be happy. And to live your rest of your life to the fullest. By doing so, you are giving honor to her.

I'd just like to say to the last guy it's far from his fault and as bad at is is. Just appreciate the beautiful times you had together for so many years. I had my first wife pass when I was in my mid 20s so I totally understand how hard it is and trying to blame yourself but it does get better over time. Much love. I hope you can try and enjoy the rest of your life like I'm sure she would want you to.

For those going to the Philippines and Angeles City and won't arrive at Clark, at Manila airport at Terminal 3 take the Genesis point to point bus and go to SM Clark Mall and get a trike for 150 pesos max to your hotel. The bus won't pickup at other terminals than 3 so you may need to take a cab, as of a little over a month ago the bus fare was 430 pesos, All in for bus, cab and trike should be less than 1000 pesos, with the skyway in Manila the bus trip averages about 2 hours. Sorry for that gentleman's loss in story 3.

In my opinion, if you're going to Thailand to date, you should respect their culture. These girls are obligated to provide for their elderly parents. They may love you but they also love their family. They don't have opportunities like females in the west. This is changing more and more with each passing day.

Very sorry for this couple.. I personally have a high sense for everytime I've been in close relationships I immediately diagnosed a health problem for my partner, witch makes me wonder how I come apon these people or is it that most women have serious health issues, but I still can't ignore it so I end up careing for these women who have never thanked me for my care.. But I'm never going to stop or run away even if it's not fun for me I'm still relieved to have given them awareness.. Since they all made it through in time..

That first story was interesting as I’m near his circumstance and wondered how he’d come about on this adventure. Am I out on this, but 50,0000 THB is not reasonable unless you want exclusive, full-time sugar, and she is very hot? Couldn’t agree with his time keeping, however. Gotta be ready to relax into a new culture. And what’s his point in playing detective if he is just playing? Let her have face and enjoy yourself. Well, as it went he was smart and chill. Enjoyed. And your little commentary was great.

Most health insurance covers a free annual check-up. I highly recommend, regardless of age or gender, to actually get an annual blood test and annual physical. If there is a price for the blood test, it's prob not that much, and prob 30 mins for a physical and discussion with a doctor.
@ThailandBound10 күн бұрын
Blood tests, urine tests and consultation takes around a couple of hours in the hospital, which isn't a big deal, but generally speaking, in a mid priced hospital, you're looking at about 6 to 8,000 Baht.
@fialee810 күн бұрын
@@ThailandBound Most places in the West, you get a blood draw about a week before the dr's appt. They send the results directly to the doctor. You don't wait around for the tests. That said, at 6,000-8,000 baht, or about three or four sessions of boom-boom... or your life, I'm thinking your life is worth the investment.

I don't know how anyone who actually loved a woman could accuse the 3rd story gentleman of self pity. Users of other people's sisters/ cousins/ daughters probably could. Warning taken my friend, i will think of your wonderfil wife as i make sure mine has annual check-ups and more. Story 2 guy made me laugh lamenting having to finance his mahal's family. My wife is from a more communal, less individualistic country and let me tell you, you get in a relationship with one, you're in a relationship with the whole family. Our highlight was having 19 of them fly up three Christmas's ago to spend three weeks in our home. An intimidating idea at first, but it turned out to be great!
