The saddest part is when the ancestors show you things you’re not ready to see about your partner. Then they go and show you a person they want you to be with and even dream of yourself meeting their elders and that person is on some “nope, not now, not ever.” It is so difficult dating as a spiritual person.

The best thing to do is continue dating other people and not wait for nobody. If their ancestors are interesred then they must make it happen. Another thing is that the other person might not be spiritually ready for you as much as you are for them.

So, Gogo, is it possible that one has not even arrived at a relationship until later? What ought to happen for him/her to arrive? Maybe, here is how I think one can discern and decide: [a] let's discard this South African model of dating where we jump stages where these need to be ascertained and thrashed (discussed); and [b] communication and vulnerability must be built into the relationship as it grows, gradually with a lot of pacing and knowing when to open and expose yourself.

With the benefit of hindsight and knowing what you know now, How did you get into relationships that you weren't supposed to be in, Gogo? a friend and I once had a conversation and we made a vow not to jump to dating any girl that comes to our lives because she may be sent to us so that we must exercise the power of our gifts. So, we must be able to discern. He prays (Methodist); I phahla and gobongo (African traditional religion). Tough though - what makes it easier is to stay so in touch with yourself in all seven facets of your life. Ensure that your buckets are filled at least to above 50% by yourself - you won't hasten to relationshiping.
