Symptoms
In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

Hi Jake, I feel fortunate to have come across your videos, as you have reduced my anxiety as to my hair systems. I now feel that, thanks to you, I may have a better sense on how to manage some of the issues I know we all have had at one time or another. For about the last twenty years I have dealt with only two stylist, but in both cases I experienced the same problems: One system would have great hair, while the other would have "horse hair" that made it next to impossible for me to manage. In addition, the haircuts were far from natural looking, to say the least. No matter how direct, or how much detail I used to explain what I wanted, it was to no avail. So, now I find myself lost and not sure who to select to buy my next system. Hearing you talking about Lord Hair and Lavivid, plus looking at their videos and ratings, I tend to lean towards Lavivid. Since you have more experience than I do, is the hair from Lavivid usually good remy hair, or will I get coarse difficult to manage hair? Any advice you can share I would be indebted to you. Thank you Jake for your guidance. Hector Doblado

I wear a hair system and tbh I have learned in the time since my first system to lead with it in conversation if the person makes a remark about my appearance or my hair specifically. It almost always leads to an "oh wow I couldn't even tell" and opens conversational pathways for me to do some lighthearted ripping on myself or something similarly charming. Overall it's been an amazing experience wearing a hair system, definitely life changing

to start I would like to say a big thank you, your channel has greatly contributed to making me decide to wear hair systems soon, and the mere fact of knowing that I will soon remedy my problem relieves me a lot, and that is thanks to you and this whole benevolent community. I would still like to qualify your remarks a little, there is a golden rule when it comes to women: don't believe what they say, believe what they do/their choices. In other words, women will want to appear virtuous (virtue signaling) to avoid offending the man in front of them and will mostly prefer to tell them a soft lie to a harsh reality. This is valid at all levels: women will say that a man of their size suits them very well (while in practice they strongly discriminate on size for much taller men) they will say that personality is more important than appearance (while everything proves the contrary), ecetera (for more check any blackpill channel, but be mentally prepared) and let's get to the subject: they will finally say that hair doesn't really matter... Which is of course false since the statistics of success of bald men with women plummet catastrophically. Now it's clear that a hair system completely fools everyone and I don't doubt the effectiveness of a supplement to look much more attractive in the eyes of women (as long as she absolutely does not know that these are not our real hair), but I think it would take a lot more real study to ensure that when they find out the truth, it doesn't have any bearing on her choice/attraction to us and that we should definitely NOT REFER to the answer they WANT us to hear. in any case thank you very much for what you bring to the community and all your radiant energy. You give me more willpower to surpass myself every day 💪🙏

Same experience here. It is a non-issue. If you meet a girl who think it is a problem it is her loss. I have been very open with both friends and romantic partners about it. I don't tell it first thing I walk in the door, but if they comment on my hair being different from last we met, I'll usually take the opportunity to tell them and generally people thinks it's cool. I don't think it should be secret and I am happy to spread awareness about it. The only annoying thing is when people start lecturing me about Turkish hair transplants, when in reality they know very little about the topic. It's well meaning, but a bit annoying because it's not like I did not already do the research before I made my decision.

Wore it for 8 years. Bald at 20. Got it at 23. Took a few months to settle into the whole thing. A few points : 1. Everything changed. I felt reborn. 2. I’m a musician and my job prospects flourished. I was hired by a band because I looked young. People looked me in the face and not up to my head when they talked with me. 3. The confidence was otherworldly. I hadn’t had it since before I lost it. 4. no real love options before the hair. Tons of attention with it. Flirting off the chart. I was on the level with women and they NEVER cared. They’d say “wow, it looks amazing. And if it’s doing you right that’s the best.” Don’t forget the work women put themselves through to look “hot” on the scene. It actually sometimes makes them feel less alone about working to look good. Believe me, that’s ok! . 5. The maintenance is a big deal and over time it gets old. So I stopped. my fiancé/ wife said just shave it. I did. But I asked her if she would’ve been interested if I looked clean headed when she met me. She said “ ummmm..no” So if you’re not getting grafts get a system baldy! Another point : your friends and some others will say things like “man just own it. Don’t hide. Etc” because they think you’re above being that vain. What matters is THIS : how do YOU FEEL when you look in the mirror?? It’s about what YOU want. And if you want the hair look do something about it!! This is one of those times in life when nobody’s advice counts (except mine😂😂). Partners appreciate it when their man wants to look good. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Edit here : I take it back now. It wasn’t then one of the best. It was THE best decision I ever made and the best gift I ever gave to old curtisunit❤ (that’s me😂)

I went through a sudden separation in 2018 and divorced by 2019 (worst time in my life). I began wearing a system at the end of 2019 until now. I can't count the dates and short term relationships that I was in until I met my person over a year ago. None of the women in my relationships ever knew, and I didn't tell any of them until I was with my current lady and we were going to move in together. She was surprised, but it didn't affect her feelings toward me at all. And she is still supportive of it. She still has yet to see me without a system. I shower, clean, and apply it all at the same time in the bathroom when it needs to be done. It's not as big a problem as one may think; it's all in our heads.

hi mind letting me know how you presented it to her? ive been in short relationships without telling the women ive dated. But recently im in a more serious relationship. Im not sure how to present it to her. If there are talks of moving in, im thinking thats when i would tell her as well. And yeah just like you, it takes me the same length of time in the bathroom that it used to take me with my real hair. About an hour or a little over an hour
@ianbrown5955
@ianbrown5955 9 ай бұрын
@@sonic-bb Visual things do not affect most women. Men are more visual and might reject a woman who had a system "possibly". All I did was tell my woman: " hey, just for your information, about 3 years ago I tried out a new advanced type of hair system for men. I loved it so much that I really enjoy how it makes me feel and look, so I gave up my wimpy thin hair and stuck to this." " it was either that, or shave it bald, so I tried this first". "and I like it". She thinks it's great. Show confidence in your decision. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF SHE LIKES IT!!! IT'S ABOUT YOU!!! Say it with that in mind. She will feel how you feel when you present it. If you are excited to tell her and you tell her with pride, then she will probably like it and see it as a positive thing. If you tell her with humility or shame, she will see your system as a cover up for character weakness. Psychology...... put out the feeling that you want to receive. You are happy with your decision, and she should be also. Smile and laugh if you have to, but be confident. I'm a pretty confident guy, but I had to work on that for years. It is amazing what you can do when you believe in yourself. Not everything will go as planned, but you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish when you believe in yourself. If she doesn't like it, or it turns her off, somebody else around the next corner will love you more. LIFE ONLY GETS BETTER IF YOU BELIEVE IT. I believe that the universe gives you back what you ask for, but you have to believe that you are worth gold and that you deserve the best of everything.

Even better, my girl is really good with hair, and has no problems with giving me a trim when I need it, so I literally haven't had to deal with any hair stuff beyond the privacy of my own home. I have my first hairsystem since 6 months. Its a pretty thick foil which you can see under good lighting where the part is no matter how you style it. So I wear a hat in public. But except for this the system looks pretty much perfect. Perfect colour match. I couldnt tell myself except for the 3mm of exposed foil. On a sidenote: I even met people I used to know and they were kind of confused where I got all that hair from. But now to the important part: I dated two women during those last six months. They didnt know I was wearing a hair system when I took my hat off, but I told them pretty much in that moment. They didnt care whatsoever. I was the one breaking up with the first girl and the second I am still dating. I hope for a better hairline in my next system so that I can go out in the public without wearing a hat, but (at least some) women seem to be completely okay with it as long as you look good with it.

@@yomer355 i have a better unit now. I would say if I want the front to look good I need to redo that every 3 days or so, then I wash my hair, solve the front, clean the lace and my skin without thr showering its maybe 10-15min work and ca 15min for the glue to dry, but I use that time to practice. Then I redo about 1x a week. I havent looked at the clock, but I would say with showering and letting the glue dry its maybe 1-1.5 hours. And if I dont have the time to redo it or dont want and it looks shit I just wear a hat. Ive gotten used to that anyway.

Ik the maintenance will be a pain, but there’s a lot of maintenance to be bald without a five o’clock shadow as well- so I might as well spend twice as much time to have confidence and love looking at myself again. Just patiently waiting for my sides and back to grow out ⌛️

I have worn a hair system for 7 years and no one I have dated has ever known or found out. My family members who I see all of the time don't know either. The only one who knows is my mom. I don't see the point of telling anyone. The whole point is for it to look natural. I always carry a small bottle of glue in my toiletry bag to touch up small spots around the edges if it starts to lift in between haircuts.

I think dating was always missing from your advice in the past. I've never been found out either, even when I was sure girls noticed, when they seem to be staring at my hair face to face in bed. Even when i had a little lift. People are just not observant to this kind of thing and to other people. It does make me a bit nervous during sex though, some women really like to touch my hair and I just keep pinning their arms down and acting like its some domination thing lol.

My hair system is kinda short so I feel like I do have to say something on a date. I try to tell guys up front, not the first time they try to run their fingers through it. But literally all reactions have been either 1) oh ok! or 2) tell me everything I need a system too! lol. TV and movies led me to think baldness is something to make fun of. And that nobody wants to date a bald guy. So you would think everyone would understand trying to avoid that look. They'd be a pretty shitty person if they didn't.

I've thought about this idea too. The challenge seems to be how to transition between the two. The sides need to be grown long enough before going back to a system, so it would look odd while it's growing out unless you wear a hair everywhere, but that's not an option for me as I work in an office

I've had a hair system for a year since i broke up with my ex. For those that don't feel comfortable telling someone immediately, everyone i've dated so far i haven't told immediately and it's made no difference what so ever. Infact, my hair system was shedding massively at the end of its life with the girl i'm currently seeing and i removed it before my most previous date ready for my replacement system and just thought id tell her. She didn't even notice anything wrong with my deteriorated system and actually took it really good, obviously had questions which i answered. She actually likes me with my head shaved too... but she'll magically get to see my hair grow next week haha! I find if you've been wearing one for a while it actually doesn't even cross my mind im wearing it and didnt occur to tell her right off the bat.

Does the glue from a hair system ruin your scalp? I don't look bad bald. I have dated, I have found jobs, etc, so I don't think it affected my "success". However, I would like to wear one for special occasions, every now and then, without hiding the fact that I am bald. My idea is to have instagram photos with and without hair, just like a woman has with fake nails and without, with glasses and contact lenses, with hair extensions and without them, etc. My only fear is that the glue will ruin my scalp in the way that I will look bad when shaved. Thanks for your response!

Im wearing systems for a year now and am since 3months single. Ive now dated 4 women 2 i had S with several times and i dont think they noticed (they never brought it up and i have an exposed hairline) while doing it they both at one point had their hand at the back of my head i just gently guided their hand to another place like my face/jaw. I was more concerned about the hairline lifting because of the sweating but it didnt lift. I guess it all boils down to how good does the system look on you and how good you maintain it. I will eventually tell them but if i feel it gets into a more serious relationship instead of just fwb kinda stuff. Beware that there are women out there who like to be rough and pull on your hair so i would tell them that you dont like that if they try it.

The chances of this happening are extremely rare, I can’t stress enough just how secure that bond is. I mean she would practically have to pull with almost all her strength so to the sole purpose of pulling off your hair system and even that would be difficult.

I’m ready to get a hair system but I think the top companies are way over priced $300 for a wig is a lot of money since it’s not gonna last more than eight months max! I am wondering if any of you know of any other companies that are good but not so incredibly expensive? Also I think the business model for hair systems is way off, I think it should be kind of a subscription service where you have the same hairpiece until it becomes no more use to you and then you get another one, but that’s my two cents.

I mean, I don't have a hairsystem yet, but I'd tell them right at the beginning. If they fall in love they won't care. I would not care one singel bit if they had fake this or fake that. Sometimes I'd rock the bald look and sometimes id wear a wig for a year, whatever I choose. And if it turns out she is a baldie that been rocking the wig look , 100% fine. The only thing i'd be conserned about is the selfesteem side of things. That's why id say it from start.

That is my plan. I dont think I look bad bald, but I sometimes miss having hair and being able to have different options. So my idea is to get a hair system and sometimes just be bald and other times just show up with hair, which is what women do with their fake nails, make-up, extensions, etc. I would not try to hide it. However, what is stopping me from doing so is my fear of the hair system glue ruining my scalp so that I wont be able to shave again because it will look bald. Does it ruin your skin? Also, in order to wear a system you first need to let your horseshoe hair grow for some weeks, and I would not like to go out in the street with that showing. Is there a way to wear a hair system without the horseshoe part growing too long?
