So beautiful always to listen to your personal narratives of resilience, innocence, and maturity in your organic loving relationship. It is remarkable to see you reflect on what you have learned in your past and present experience within these narratives for ongoing growth. It also seems evident that everything happens just the way it suppose to in your life during your journey, because both your coping mechanisms were/are necessary in getting you to where you are, and continue to move you progressively forward in your authenticity and enriched loving lives. Thanks always for all the transparent efforts and love you pour into these videos!

First, you were on the path to regularising your stay (Nobody is illegal), then you went to college to buy time, and graduated from University, so by the time your papers were ready, you had a degree. Inspiring.

Hi Tee and Drew, I have three comments: First, as someone who is in an international marriage, I can relate to navigating the pressures and anxieties of wondering how the immigration issues will get sorted out. Truly, it requires a leap of faith and a leap of love, but I think those leaps help confirm the specialness of the love. Second, I think it is widely accepted that in traditional heterosexual marriages, one person (usually the man), is the primary breadwinner, but we in same-sex marriages struggle with this issue. My answer is that the best relationships aren't fifty-fifty, they're hundred-hundred, meaning each person should give 100% according to their individual capacity. Third, I did have a bit of an "ouch" moment Tee, when you said that you could have more readily accepted a situation in which a significantly older man would be supporting you financially because you would be providing him with love. That assumes that a younger partner's love is somehow worth more because of his youth whereas the older partner's love is less valuable because he is older. Besides being a faulty assumption, I think it reflects the ageism that is too often present in gay male subculture, so I invite you to rethink your statement.

Such a lovely experience of trials and triumphs ❤….Would advise to be a little careful with some wording though-asylum seeking is an UNHCR protected legal migration (illegal immigrants would have to be individuals in the country without any visa, right or knowledge of the home office).
