Good evening, all three of you. Very nice video. Someday, I'll be on a plane and I'm going to see Loisiana for few days and go fishing. Really nice fish and you don't catch that many in a short time here. Laugh, tell your son, if you can party, you have to be fit later. I used to party until 6.00 a.m. on assembly trips and work from 8.00 a.m. at a height of 120 meters (almost 400 feet) for 12 hours. What doesn't kill you only makes you tougher, laugh. And a good Jacky disinfects everything. Have a good week, all three of you. Greetings from Frankfurt

Love your videos! My husband and I went fishing along banks of Grass Lake. We caught 8 Soc a laits, a Bass, a Catfish. We had a wonderful time. I was raised around this area. Been on the water since I could walk. Seen alot of changes in the water and land in my life. No more Grass in Grassy Lake like it used to be 30 years ago, so sad, salt water coming in and killing it all. Another thing all these high dollar boats and people coming with these cameras and catching all our Soc a lait before they can spoun. We dont keep the small ones and we dont keep the big females that are fat and ready to lay there eggs. I enjoy watching old school fishing, wish they would out law them cameras!

Can you tell me how far up the Atchafalya River is affected by the tide? Where does fresh water meet salt water? I looked at Google maps. Lake Verret is pretty big
@datlouisianalife8 ай бұрын
The saltwater came way in last year due to the drought. Killed a lot of freshwater grass. They closed a bunch of saltwater intrusion structures to help. It changes year to year depending on the rain and snow up north.
@jamesa.rodriguez85988 ай бұрын
@datlouisianalife Being the delta, it's my understanding the geographic elevations rise very little, from mean sea level inward for tens if not scores of miles. With the tide in effect, I suppose the brackish water could be a ways inland. Can some fish species live in both salt and fresh water? It really isn't fair of me to ask all these questions. But the last time I asked AI a question, it went like this. "Siri, can you tell me why It's difficult for me to communicate with women?" And I heard this, "James, this is Alexa." 🙄 Ya'll have a good one. 😎
