little question how do you make your advance timing without vaccum ?

Hi, I just advanced the timing for good ignition at around 3k rpm onwards and locked the distributor in place. The idle needs to be a bit high to compensate for the advanced ignition timing. Starting is a bit difficult with a cold engine, but no more need for a vacuum advance hose connection to the distributor

Bit misleading title, that is setting idle tune only. To tune from scratch means setting chokes, main jets, emulsion tubes and pump jets.
