great video, good editing, thanks for making this, we need to do the same. though we have a 1976 280Z 2+2, it is concerning it doesn't fit great, unless it was the wrong model or style, looks great in the end though. what are your seats and do you like them?

Appreciate it! And I happened to get the rear mats for a 76 280 which have different tail light covers so the figment wasn’t exactly the same. The seats are from retro seats. I have a full video on them

The 1977 had two rear hatch area versions. Early 77 had a sloped rear deck (no plastic interior tail light cover) and later 77 had the flat deck. You have the flat deck but got the sloped rear deck carpet. My car is an 11/76 ( early 1977) and has the sloped rear deck.

I love your how your Datsun is turning out! Do you mind if I ask where you got your grille from? Is it skillard?
@Izzys_Autos3 жыл бұрын
Thanks ! And it was actually custom made. It's two 240 grills that were welded together

@@SV-hp4ni I appreciate it. It's nothing special but with time and patience I hope to make it a hell of a lot better.

Where did you got this kit from? Did you use glue during the install? I like what you did with the split front bumper, do you have any footage of that?
@Izzys_Autos3 жыл бұрын
I ordered or from Z car Depot. They have some 240 and 260 kits as well. And thank you! Unfortunately I don't but I just hacked up and old 240 bumper and removed the centre

@@Izzys_Autos They don't seem to have a kit for they 78 I'll have to look elsewhere. I was almost de decide in getting the ACC molded kit at rock auto, but then decided I want to do diamond stitching similar to the 240z on the trans tunnel. For this I am better with a multi piece kit like yours. Did you use any kind of adhesive during the install? Did you use regular conversion bracket to mount the bumpers? Maybe you can show us how it is mounted in one of you up coming video... Great channel by the way!

@@simonJobin I used some glue and some double sided tape to keep the carpet from moving around but I will have to redo it one of these days. And I mounted them just using the holes on the side of the headlight bucket and a long bolt that I connected to a mounting bracket that i made. I will be changing that this spring though.
