Considering you can see the valve cover gasket hanging out right above that intake bank…. I’d take a wild guess it’s your valve gasket.

I Did this to my same exact motor..its normal for little rough start after a good cleaning...you should do a relearn after unplugging of the throttle body may explain for little loss of power.

$200 order nowhere to be found FedEx claiming it was delivered and signed for by a name that nowhere resembles the name on the fucking product purchased or anyone that lives at my address. Been getting packages all week , ups, FedEx, usps, all except for mailbox deliveries came with a photo upon delivery now magically with my missing package there’s no picture. Fed ex claims on tracking “delivery exception delivered to address other than recipient” now why in the fuck would the do that? Looked online people saying it could be wrong address on my order yet it’s not and I’ve received multiple packages from this same seller no issue same address. I did not receive any calls indicating the driver had trouble. Can’t talk to a fucking human to save my life just this braindead “customer service” bot. Filed a claim online yesterday and they’ve said absolutely nothing. HOW TF IS FEDEX STILL IN BUSINESS?!

You were lucky (sort of), you got to talk to a real person. Things must have changed in the last 3 years. I tried to call FedEx about a package that was delivered to the wrong address. When I called customer service a got a robot and only three choices. None were correct, so I was forced to pick the closest option. When I did the robot said that the package was already delivered and then hung up on me. I called back multiple times. Any attempt to get a person (asking for one, pressing zero, etc) would lead to a hang up. Went on line and got the exact same treatment fro the text robot. Then I found (God knows how) a form to fill out where I could actually write a few lines explaining that the sending company sent a package to the wrong address, however after pressing send it just hung up and I eventually got a "time out." I know that the package was delivered to the wrong address because the blurry FedEx photo clearly shows someone else's house. I'm now jumping through hoops trying other options including involving PayPal. What a horrible nightmare. USPS used to be the service to not use. Now it sounds like FedEx. What are they thinking? You can't treat customers with such disregard and expect that they continue to do business with you.

Great review -- brings back memories!!! Drove the crap out my 04 G35 6MT and eventually sold it with just under 400,000km on the clock. Was exactly the same as yours except the fellow who first owned it bought the pop-up Navi system so I didn't have to cubby hole. Other fun facts about the carbianit was the last car Infiniti/Nissan made with a cassette deck and the spare tire was mounted on a matching alloy rim (expensive but great having a spare). None ever mentions the folding rear seats which were/are super cool. No idea why it didn't catch on as they were supremely comfortable. And the arm rest on the back has a hidden side compartment which is Velcro'd down. Was the best sports sedan you could buy in 2004 and super reliable with proper maintenance...

I had a 2013 C250 (petrol) and how you described the car is absolutely on the money. The engines actually have plenty of punch, when throttle kicks in the cars really do get up and go pretty well. The problem is that there is a real feeling of "lag" to every driver input. The throttle as you said seems to feel somewhat delayed - like you put your foot down and the car responds half a second later. It's the same thing with the gearbox, just as you mentioned - even in manual mode when you change gear, it feels like the car actually changes a second or so later. All of this can make the car a little frustrating to drive in those moments when you do want to get going quickly - like when you need to get into a gap in traffic to over take, or jump into a gap in traffic when turning out of a side street, etc. If you dont care about any of this then its a brilliant car. The interior is a lovely place to be (mine had the dark - almost black - wood veneer which was stunning), it's a very easy car to drive (light steering, tight turning circle, good ergonomics, etc) and it's the most comfortable car I've ever owned on a long drive. Biggest key I think for anybody looking at one of these cars is DO NOT think of it as a sports car. If you're looking for a fun, engaging sports car that's going to make your heart race every time you drive it, then this will not be for you. If you're looking for a beautifully built and appointed luxury cruiser that's effortless to drive and stunning to look at then this car will be perfect for you. On a side note, build quality on these cars really in fantastic. I looked at quite a few of these when I was shopping for mine, and the thign that impressed me most about this generation C class is that pretty much regardless of age and mileage they all looked damn near brand new on the inside. I first looked at an early pre-facelift (2008 I think) with about 160,000km and even it looked like brand new inside. In fact I've yet to see a single W204 C-Class that didnt look near new inside. The materials hold up incrediibly well over time.

I have a 77 280 and it is much quieter than that. Dynomat through out. Had it for over 40 years. Still stock except for leather seats. AC will freeze you out. The car has never left me stranded. Put a ZX 5 speed in it to keep rpms down at highway speeds. Still fun to drive on Sundays.
